// Lands  -  23
    4 [ZEN] Forest
    10 [ZEN] Island
    3 [ALA] Bant Panorama
    3 [M10] Terramorphic Expanse
    1 [10E] Treetop Village
    1 [10E] Faerie Conclave
    1 [SOK] Mikokoro, Center of the Sea

// Creatures  -  16
    4 [TSB] Wall of Roots
    3 [ZEN] Oracle of Mul Daya
    1 [ZEN] Sphinx of Jwar Isle
    3 [VI] Man-o'-War
    2 [FUT] Venser, Shaper Savant
    3 [LRW] Mulldrifter

// Spells  -  21
    3 [ON] Words of Wind
    4 [MM] Gush
    2 [5E] Sylvan Library
    2 [TE] Capsize
    2 [PY] Foil
    4 [CS] Rune Snag
    4 [SH] Mana Leak

This list is based around Words of Wind and interactions with it. Essentially this means I'm abusing enter-the-battlefield triggers as I force my opponents to bounce their permanents. Mulldrifter is key with Words of Wind, in that I can evoke Mulldrifter for 3 and pay 1 for WoW to force my opponents to bounce a permanent while I draw a card and keep Mulldrifter. Venser + Words of Wind creates a soft lock against many decks, and the multitude of bounce effects and counterspells provide a solid buffer against most aggro decks that aren't rampant with haste. The Oracles are there to help me keep lands on the board when I'm spamming WoW and to let me do broken things with Gush. Wall of Roots are handy defenders early on, but provide ridiculous amounts of mana with the multitude of instants this deck has - I can use Wall of Roots' mana ability both on my turn and my opponents, essentially letting me cheat 2 mana out of the Wall per turn. When it has four counters, I can happily return it to my hand with Words of Wind, force my opponent to bounce something, and re play it as a 0/5. The Sphinx is just a pretty solid win-con in long games that I can't stall out.

Given that the only dual lands I could afford to play would be shocklands or original duals (as I need islands for Gush), I don't think I can do much to improve it. However, it works very well as is, as I almost never have problems with it.

Comments and critique are always appreciated. Thanks for reading.

Sylvan library would be amazing because you could replace the draws with words of wind and not pay the life from the library.  It would definately be worth finding a slot.

I'm not sure I would cut a combo piece, maybe -2 into the roil for the librarys?

I'll try losing a Mulldrifter and an Into the Roil. I want to go down to 3 Mulldrifters if I add any Libraries, as Mulldrifter isn't useful if I already have a Sylvan Library and a Words of Wind down.

Ok.  All I can think of now is cutting that single into the roil for another Jellyfish, but thats just personal preference.

I'll try it. OP decklist has been updated to be a little more combo-y and tempo-y. Any suggestions from here? I feel that, within my budget, the deck has gotten pretty close to as good as it's going to get.

I just had a sort of epiphany for this deck during a huge multiplayer game last night.

What do you all think of Recycle for this deck?

Also, the same game has shown me that I need a board sweeper - either Wash Out or Evacuation. Thoughts?

I say I can't hurt to try it out   Make sure you include Oboro, Palace in the Clouds!  As for the board sweeper, I perfer Wash out for its lower cmc, but again, personal preference.

If you're feeling mean, you could add Mystic Snake for more venser-like fun. I also kind of like Sower of Temptation here: steal a creature, bounce it with words when it's not useful/dead, bounce sower, repeat. Vedalken Shackles could replace the sower, but they're roughly 2x more expensive and aren't too much better.

I think recycle is cute, but if you're getting to that kind of mana you should start to consider stuff like Woodfall Primus. Which brings up another one: Kitchen Finks can be bounced like wall of roots. If you find youself wanting more accel, Farhaven Elf, Wood Elves, Civic Wayfinder/Borderland Ranger, Coiling Oracle, and Solemn Simulacrum all have your back. Whew!

Other suggestions:
Burgeoning, Exploration,  or Fastbond as faster oracles
Rites of Flourishing as an oracle-mine
any landfall cards - you'll never run out of lands to play
Ornithopter, Cloud of Faeries or any other free perms for easy replaying
Rhystic Study or any cards that make replaying cards more painful. I only chose study because it's great in multiplayer.
! Eternal Witness seriously.

Good luck with the deck!
Arrakis... desert planet.
