SB: 1 [ROE] Jaddi Lifestrider
SB: 2 [M10] Fog
I haven't had a chance to test it much since I've been playing RDW at FNM while I have the chance. Originaly, I had 2 Monuments in the main and one in the board, but I found myself bringing it in for a majority of my matches, so I just moved it to the main. The
Jaddi Lifestrider
could easily be another Fog. I heard someone mention the card and thought it might be decent as a 1-of against Jund and RDW. I like the MD Wolfbriars. They use to be Bestial Menace in the main and the side. I figured that you get the same amount of power from Wolfbriar as you do for Bestial Menace at 5 mana. Granted, the extra body from Bestial menace is relevant for Overrun/Monument. Unlike Bestial Menace, however, Wolfbriar gives you the option to play it for 4 in a pinch or to play it for 6+ to get more out of it. You can also trade 2 Eldrazi Spawn tokens for 2 Wolf tokens a lot of the time. I wouldn't run more than 2 in the main though.
I find that U/W is probably our toughest matchup. I bring in Stag, Wolfbriar, Naturalize, and
Brittle Effigy
against them, but it can still be tough. Basically, it comes down to resolving and keeping a Monument imo. That's one reaqson why I move the third Monument to the main. I even considered adding a 4th Monument to the side, but that seemed a little like overkill.
