I know that Blightning is frequently underwhelming, but you also have a sideboard.  Blightning isn't thar relevant in any deck that would play this anyway.

What is everyone using in SB against RDW? I always end up losing to that.

I'm running a pretty standard jund build these days and got mauled last week byNext level Bant.

Either by replacing my main deck blightnings or in my side, I'm thinking of adding Cunning Sparkmage or Royal Assassin.  Which do you think will be the better option against NLB?  Or is there a better option altogether that I am overlooking?

Yeah, I was kinda thinkin' about that, myself, actually. Slime also fills the 5-drop slot now that we don't have Siege Gang Commander.

I really like that idea.  I use Malakir Bloodwitch es in the 5-drop slot in my sideboard, but I honestly don't like Sarkhan the Mad , found few occasions to board in Siege-Gang Commander and have been using some ancient tech for a 5-drop tempo boost.  I definitely like the idea of using 2-4 Mitotic Slime to further clog the board with creatures.

Oh, really? I did not know that. Doesn't make a whole lot of sence, but I'm happy with it.

New direction for Jund?

This is a rough list, but it has promise, I think with some jiggery pokey, more of a toolbox could be designed, using bloodghasts, going a heavier black route. Pitching Vengevine to find BBE is pretty much busted.

4 Fauna Shaman
4 Vengevine
4 Bloodbraid Elf
4 Sprouting Thrinax
4 Lotus Cobra
2 Cunning Sparkmage
2 Goblin Ruinblaster
1 Grave Titan/Inferno Titan
(25)

2 Basilisk Collar
4 Maelstrom Pulse
2 Lightning Bolt
2 Sarkhan the Mad
(10)

4 Verdant Catacomb
1 Scalding Tarn
1 Misty Rainforest
4 Savage Lands
3 Mountain
4 Raging Ravine
3 Swamp
3 Forest
2 Dragonskull Summit
(25)
