It's so funny that little words in MtG go a long way and are heavily relied upon in so many situations (like how WoG is able to destroy Black Knight) however when you read them in the rules or in card text and they don't completely apply to YOUR BELIEF then you dismiss them.

BTW I was referring to how "protection" simply means that you cannot be the "target" of attacks or spells and in the case of WoG it says "all" and not "target" so it still works.

It says "Intended" because it's not written in stone. Rules change, mistakes get fixed, new things get added, old things get clarified.

If you're holding out for a chance to say "I was right all along" this is as close as you're going to get: The rulebook is not always correct. There are typos and convoluted logical inconsistencies, and every once in a while something is just wrong. So someone brings it to the attention of the proper people, and hopefully it gets changed in the next update. For all you know, there really was an error with the rulebook's logic, and Lush Growth's ability was broken all along. So you brought it to the attention of the rules forum, where we can expect official WotC employees to see it. That's good.

This is not one of those cases where the rulebook was in error though. There's no BELIEF involved here. Some things just aren't open to opinion.

If there's one thing you've failed to do throughout this entire thread, it's make sense.

PS. I guess it's also worth noting that in a tournament setting, the head judge's decision is final even if it conflicts with the rules. So hypothetically if you were a certified judge and you mistakenly told players that Lush Growth could give them for a simple tap, that's the way they'd have to play it. But you'd still be wrong. I imagine someone could get in trouble if they did stuff like that too often.

This definitely doesn't mean what you think it means.

I was referring to the painting The Treachery of Images.

I know.
