So you're splashing white for 2 cards and maybe 3 more?
Why not just play Naya ramp? Or for that matter, Bant ramp with a Wargate engine and Jenara for a finisher... Come to think of it, is there such a list around already?
EDIT:
Garruk is still good as a threat, he can still accelerate for you, he can still create multiple beast tokens, and he can still overrun for the win. All in all, he's still a threat, so why wouldn't you run him? worst case he takes a bullet that would have been aimed at one of your creatures, or you. Best case he lands you board advantage sufficient to win the game. Nah, worst case scenario he bites it to the volcanic fallout that was gonna get played to clean up your elves anyway.

Probably 4 maindeck. You really don't want to kill your own guys with those especially considering that they usually get used fairly early.

Here's what I'm planning on playing tomorrow:
// Lands 2 [EVE] Twilight Mire 6 [10E] Forest 4 [10E] Treetop Village 1 [10E] Swamp 4 [ALA] Savage Lands 2 [LRW] Mountain 4 [SHM] Fire-Lit Thicket
// Creatures 2 [MOR] Chameleon Colossus 4 [ALA] Broodmate Dragon 4 [SHM] Kitchen Finks 4 [LRW] Cloudthresher
// Spells 4 [LRW] Fertile Ground 3 [ALA] Jund Charm 3 [SHM] Firespout 2 [CFX] Banefire 4 [ARB] Maelstrom Pulse 1 [10E] Loxodon Warhammer 4 [10E] Rampant Growth 2 [LRW] Primal Command
// Sideboard SB: 1 [10E] Pithing Needle SB: 2 [LRW] Primal Command SB: 4 [CFX] Volcanic Fallout SB: 4 [ARB] Terminate SB: 4 [ARB] Anathemancer
Any suggestions? I was thinking about replacing the fertile grounds with civic wayfinders, but that would leave me very light on 2 drops, and given the mana-specific requirements, I don't think that mindstone is an option.

Hm. I'm not liking this deck anymore. I'm tending to agree. Cascade variants and associated archetypes seem to do the same, but better.
Umm, so I don't really frequent these forums any more, but I do blog for my website Greatplay.net.

I don't play paper so Regionals means nothing to me. Reborn isn't even released on MtgO yet actually. But if I were playing I'm torn between RDW or "Jund Control" which is what I consider this deck when not super-focused on ramping. Either deck would have Bloodbraid Elf.
Free MTGO Tournaments you should be playing: Pauper (all commons) - Tuesday Nights, prizes by MTGOTraders Peasant (Pauper + 5 uncommons, with paper rarity) - Sunday Nights, prizes by MTGOTraders Silverblack (Modern-era Commons and Uncommons - Most Wednesday nights, prizes by MTGO Bazaar Heirloom ("Cheap" cards only, e.g. rares under 20 cents) - Sunday afternoons, sponsored by MTGOTraders Check the superbly-made Gatherling site for more. Other games you should try: Spectromancer - Online card game by Richard Garfield, available cheap on Steam. DC Universe Online - action-based MMO. Free to play. Surprised me how well designed it is. Simunomics - Free-to-play economy simulation game.

What are you playing at Regionals? Your meta killer? I'm not personally going to regionals, but krazykirby (the deck's co-author) will be taking the deck.

What do you guys think about playing Flameblast Dragon over Cloudthresher?
