Has anyone ever tried Time Stop  ? Would seem good as perhaps a 2 of

Against other control it's a good way of losing the counter war, against swans they'll just combo over it and against aggro you've got other options.
Does it stop cascade? sure.
But... 6 mana is a tad bit much.
Luckily, we have stop-having-fun guys to remind us that having anything more than 60 cards in your deck is tantamount to being a rapist and anyone considering it should be strung up by their ****  .

I can see them playing a Deny Reality, into Bloodbraid, into Assault, with a smirk on their face. Then I just play this and laugh

Deny reality has a cmc of 5. 6cc solutions to 5cc threats tend to run into a few problems.
Luckily, we have stop-having-fun guys to remind us that having anything more than 60 cards in your deck is tantamount to being a rapist and anyone considering it should be strung up by their **** .

No other reason to run it in Faeries.

There's this nifty "edit" button her in the forums that's really tech. 
You can even do stuff like put a strike through the mistake you made to show that you're just clarifying it.

I don't like Soul Manipulation except as your 12th or so counterspells.
It's really not even about giving niche cards to black.
It should be about giving black cards to Niche.

It's the 11th if you count spellstutter as 1/2 a counterspell each. Then it can retrieve a spellstutter, so it's more like the 11.5th counter.
