...really? counter and draw are never used? I bet some people use it, but having your creatures tapped and getting a mutavault bounced is nasty. You got to think, it the current meta there are a lot of big creatures swinging your way. (Even elves are beating me with that AXE!) So if you can tap out their creatures to prevent a alpha strike, or to clear the way for your own alpha strike, then you increase your chances of winning. Tapping out creatures that have a potential 15 damage coming your way is > than drawing a card. This isn't to say that the card draw and counterspell part are not worth playing, but #2 and #3 screw your opponent's tempo up pretty bad. Against certain decks, tapping all there creatures is a like a psuedo timewalk for you which is always nice.
What have you seen CC used for? (I was just speaking about what my opponents mostly use it for)

Im the only one i know that has it. In your local meta right?
Well let us know how it works for you. I should also note, that CC is really a conditional card. If it was the last card in my hand, and someone played a Wrath of God, I would say counter the wrath and draw a card. (both options that I haven't see much but in this scenerio they would be optimal). I guess it is the options and combinations of the abilities that make it so good. It is a perfect answer most of the time in many different situations.

I am no pro or anything, but I can tell you that I got a lot better when i started playing against more than a few friends at my house. Do you use any online programs at home? You should check out that local shop though.
