Hmm... You're right, of course, but I do wonder if thats broken enough to warrant a change... Anyway, because the sequel to Diraden is nearing completion, here's two birds. No stones allowed! Glintwing Falcon 1W Creature - Bird (C)
Flying, Vigilance
Though they may never see the sun again, the citizens of Fyor can still draw inspiration from the shimmering wings of the falcons.
1/2 13/160
Glintwing Boon 1W Sorcery (U)
Target creature gains flying and vigilance until end of turn. Forecast — 3WW, Reveal Glintwing Boon from your hand: Target creature gets +3/+3 and gains flying, first strike, and vigilance until end of turn. (Play this ability only during your upkeep and only once each turn.)
12/160
Starglimmer Osprey 1U Creature - Bird (C)
Tagchain 1 (When you play Starglimmer Osprey, you may reveal an instant or sorcery card in your hand with converted mana cost 1 or less and play a copy of it without paying its mana cost.) Flying
Starglimmer flocks have been known to confound travelers in the Darklands, their sparkling wings being mistaken for guiding stars.
1/1 57/160
Starglimmer Secrets U Sorcery (U)
Kicker U (You may pay an additional U as you play this spell.) Look at the top four cards of your library and put them back in any order. If the kicker cost was paid, you may draw a card.

It's been a while, but here's more Diraden! I'm running out of fancier cards, so some of these might be workhorse cards.
Fyorn Barricade 2W Creature - Wall (U)
Defender Whenever Fyorn Barricade blocks a creature, it gets +0/+X, where X is equal to that creature’s converted mana cost.
King Roric had the walls built to protect Fyor from any attackers, but Velrav’s treachery came from within.
0/3 9/160
Glacorian Dreamcaster 1U Creature - Moonfolk Wizard (C)
U, T: Tap target creature. 1U: Target tapped creature doesn’t untap during it’s controller next turn unless he or she pays 1.
Those that used to wake with the sun may find themselves lost in the land of dreams.
1/1 40/160
Scrystone Reelak UU Creature - Elemental (U)
Discard X cards, sacrifice Scrystone Reelak: Search your library for an instant or sorcery card with converted mana cost X or less, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then, shuffle your library.
“I certainly don’t need their help to read the stars, but I will admit, they make it much easier.” -Jaina, Astromancer Adept
1/1 52/160
Burden of Power 4BB Enchantment (R)
Whenever a player plays a spell, that player loses life equal to it’s total cost.
“Whether by choice or by force, Diraden will accept bloodcasting.” -Prince Velrav
64/160
Dazzlespark R Sorcery (U)
Kicker 1R (You may pay an additional 1R as you play this spell.) Gain control of target creature until end of turn. If the kicker cost was paid, untap it and it gains haste until end of turn.
In the gloom of the darklands, even the slightest spark can lead one astray.
98/160
Cedarfolk Sapling G Creature - Treefolk Druid (C)
T: Cedarfolk Sapling becomes a forest land. (It is no longer a creature. This effect doesn’t end at end of turn.)
Diraden’s treefolk are honored when it comes their time to leave the darkening world and return to the simple bliss of nature.
0/2 128/160
Also, Nightfall, the second installment in the Diraden block is nearing completion! Featuring a new mechanic, twists on Diraden favorites, and cards with working names like [Tokens and Life Guy], [Æthersnipemaw], [Mindhacker Sparrow], [Insightcorid], [Stop Holding Fatties], [HillGiant 2], [Generic Beast], [Walk the Walk], and [UBR Living Death]. Ooh, exciting!

1/4 11/160

"...and tell them to bring their flaming arrows!" Nice.
This batch is pretty good. But why do you dislike the new kicker wording? You do realize that it's about 90% likely that they're going to print cards that "kick" other spells next set, right?

It's not that I dislike the wording (well, I do, but that's not the whole issue), its just that these are all on MSE. My MSE still has all the old wordings and doesnt seem to want to update. Plus, most of these were made back when that was the correct wording for kicker. I may change them eventually, but for now the point is understood well enough.
Also, I may switch for some designs that just don't work without it. Case in point...
Refracting Reelak 3U Creature - Reelak (R)
Whenever you play a kicked instant or sorcery spell, you may put an unkicked copy of it onto the stack. You may choose new targets for the copy.
Spells focused through a reelak’s crystal body refract and diverge from their intended purpose.

Though the Shining Hand can no longer serve their king, they still uphold their duty to his people.
2/3 26/160

First Strike WW: Combat damage that would be dealt to Shining Hand Paladin this turn is dealt to target creature blocking or blocked by Shining Hand Paladin instead.
Masters of the Light, the Shining Hand have learned to turn its protective glow into a shimmering weapon.

A sea of pitchforks and torches is more than enough to ward off roaming thirsters.
30/160
Taadaa! That's all the white cards of Diraden. The sooner I finish this, the sooner I can force my self to finish flavoring the next set and reveal that!

I like Refracting Reelak. Quite original IMO, and perfectly balanced.
I would be really depressed if I get a Shieldfaith Boon as the rare of my booster TBH.
The Shining Hand dudes are neat. :D
Town Militia is cool. I kinda like Tagchain a lot more now.
The set looks great. I'll have to change my nomination from Bankai to you on Champs. :P

I was worried it might actually be too good. Pro-whatever each turn for 3, plus it's there for whenever you need to Tagchain something. I can see how it might be a little boring, though.

:O I'm honored, thanks!
Banish U Sorcery (C)
Return target non-land permanent to it’s owners hand.
“Lynia’s Hand shines bright tonight, and it will carry away my foes.” -Ithaar, Astromancer Sage

Kicker 1U (You may pay an additional 1U as you play this spell.) Search your library for an instant or sorcery card with converted mana cost 1 or less, reveal it and put it into your hand.
