Nah, it'd be different. If somebody destroys the Mox Lotus  while you have the infinite mana, it's impossible for you to use it up before you get mana burned (unless you have an  cost handy, and you're allowing yourself to choose an infinite number for X). Normal mana sinks like Saltcrusted Steppe  just don't work. Under your wording, using Saltcrusted Steppe would save you.

[FONT="Bell MT"]The Un- cards aren't supposed to follow the rules, so the current version shouldn't start a 4-page rules question either, but there are those players who don't understand that the Un- cards are made specifically to laugh at the rules and not follow them.[/FONT]
