i had a cloudthresher  in play enchanted by a pariah  my opponent cast. i swing him for 7 damage, when the damage goes on the stack i skred my cloudthresher for lethal damage and it dies, the enchantment is no longer in play and the damage from my cloudthresher can no longer be redirected to it. when the damage resolves it deals 7 damage to my opponent. is my understanding correct here?

cool, i just wasn't sure because i thought the redirection of damage was different in some way.
