Is it just me, or is color filter completely non-functional right now?
It's really been busted for this long?

I can't get this thing to work half the friggen time. I want to see only cards that are green and white multicolored, seems like that would be simple tell it green, white, multicolor only. But do that and you get all multicolor cards that have green or white in them. Try telling it to exclude colors you didn't include and it gets worse. Why is it so hard to see all multicolor cards of the chosen colors only, seems like that should be pretty straight forward.

Hello,
I am simply trying to figure out how to use Gatherer. I need to get all the Green cards in Standard.
I check the Green checkbox and then the checkbox to exclude all other colors but when I get the results, it includes ALL colors--not just green. Can anyone explain to me how to do the search I need to do (the one for Green Standard cards.)
TIA, kk

Woah, 2 years and 51 forum pages later and it still has lots of problems. Anyway, I'm trying to get it to show me all the cards from SoA to current( Innistrad and 2012)

This thread is for discussion, suggestions, comments and feedback on the new version of Gatherer, which you can find here: gatherer.wizards.com/. Thanks!
My feedback is simple. Here it is 2012--several years after the new Gatherer and it still isn't working anywhere near the way it should. The only way we are apparently going to get their attention is if we give them lots of pages of feedback/comments every day.
Maybe starting a new thread every day or or so or something like that might help, too. I don't know. It's very frustrating because the color fiter would help a lot when you're making new decks. Even having an effective filter for Extended, Vintage, or whatever would help, too.
Come on, WOTC, I ask you politely to fix Gatherer.
BTW, does anybody know why WOTC hasn't fixed it yet?

Does anyone know another magic card database as an alternative, there's the anycraze.com I listed. I found out actually it's not missing the card sets in the advanced search, it's just that it has no checkboxes for them you can, however, search for them on specific set at a time, on the basic search page.

The reason it is not working is because they added the color indicator to Gatherer. Adding a brand new field to a large integrated database is not easy, and they have to modify all of the things that depended on the old structure. I would guess that they are working on it, but it has not gone through all the required processes like testing and QA.
