I don't know if this is already covered elsewhere in the FAQ...
I have a creature with a comes-into-play ability that has a target. If there's no legal target for the ability, can I still play the creature? That's not really about creatures, it's about triggered abilities, though it does come up a lot with creatures and may be worth a mention.
The only other things I can think of (that don't make me go "that's not really about creatures, it's about [regeneration/SBEs/tribals/Changeling/whatever]") are attacking and blocking situations, which I assume are also mentioned elsewhere. People often don't know you can gang-block, or don't understand how damage is divided when you do, stuff like that. Some of these are really Trample questions, but not all. So links to the sections on attacking and blocking are warranted, at the very least.

The new FAQ is now up! Please jump over to see the shiny new thread here, and be sure to give me some feedback on all the new additions and changes. This thread will now be locked.
And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real. --Erin McKean, Redefining the Dictionary

I don't have permission to look at your shiny new thread. I feel sad and unloved now. Why won't you give me permission?

"That's what's so stupid about the whole magic thing, you know," Rincewind said. "You spend twenty years learning the spell that makes nude virgins appear in your bedroom, and then you're so poisoned by quicksilver fumes and half-blind from reading old grimoires that you can't remember what happens next." - Terry Pratchett, The Colour Of Magic

Because you're not cool enough, dangit! :P
Try again in a little while--the FAQ is in the Scribe forum right now, awaiting a WizO to whisk it over here. It should arrive shortly.
