Right-O it does, one of the reasons why the GWB build will be better.

i think the WU build is just as good man, so what you get primal command, you can go completely control, and do teferi+teachings..

idk you could be right.

It just seems that having a strong Midrange-Aggro back up plan would be great.
Like with Goyf's and Doran and such.

If this deck gets big (and it will)and it changes "latest tech" to pre arctype and try to give the people me the OP and whoever is the OP of UW lark blink credit for it.

ok now that i got that out of the way this deck WILL t8 every where in some form PICK UP REVEILLARKS NOW they will be 12-18 dollar rares i have 12 now in the mail from pre orders each i got at 1 dollar or less

The wish board is great but if your not running that i would reccommend 12+ draw spells

I think you are overrating it a little bit there bub.

It's good don't get me wrong, but it won't "break" the format.
I still see Doran being the dominant deck as we continue through this T2.

Actually, I doubt they'll go over $10. You get a Reveillark in the Soldier theme deck.

Any suggestions for a budget-minded version? Starting to play more (again) but mostly casual and not ready to pull the trigger on a set of Wraths. Pollen Lullaby to buy me a turn or two?

First off, this deck has been made before this thread existed, the only and key piece it was missing was mirror entity. I've been play testing this deck a bit and it definitely won't be breaking any formats. It's situational and very slow. That being said it's also very fun to play.

The problem with most of the deck lists I've seen so far is that it focuses far too much on the combo. This sacrifices early defense which i don't think is a very good move. This deck packs little to no disruption in the early game so when you're facing Goyf and Doran things tend to go poorly. I think for this deck to be successful it must be run with more aggro control than combo.

Careful Considerations is essential to this deck. The card draw is massive for the mana cost and discard is actually very important to be able to use Reveillarks ability.

Merrow Witsniper is not necessary for this deck at all. It's just a wasted card slot IMO. Yea milling is hilarious but there's enough weapons to win without it. Having one Venser in your graveyard ensures that they never play another spell for the rest of the game as well as returning all their permanents to their hands.

This deck is actually very cheap compared to other T2 decks. The only costly card is Wrath of God. If you want to make a really budget deck use Evacuation instead. For the mana-base you can easily use Wanderwine Hubs instead of Terramorphic Expanse+Nimbus Maze. Unforunately there is no alternative for the main combo cards but they're really cheap right now too.
