Wow - land destruction in the casual room? Gutsy!

Deck seems pretty cool. Would be interesting against heavy hitting deck like Doran Rock and of Course heavy fae. Ultimately though the deck seemed pretty sweet.
On a side note, i know the deck is creatureless but hostility would be a good addition. Epecially with all that burn there.

I really like the "everything I have and then whittle down" build strategy. Wouldn't mind seeing that again. I was surprised you went down to 3 Boom/Bust in the first place. It's just that essential to your plan, and hardly inconceivable that you would play the Boom side if you drew a 2nd. You know I don't usually feel bad for Ben's opponents, but one of those guys was playing Old Ghastbark. At least he had a Wilt-Leaf Liege and a Gaddock Teeg in there, but still that should have been Cavaliers and Saffis and Finks.

It is sad how people get upset about any form of land destruction. I have been "yelled" at for using Numot, the Devastator. As you say, there is a big difference between your opponent casting Boomerang on your dual land turn 2 then destroying your lands from then on out and simply blowing up a lot of lands once you get to six mana.

Wow, playing with land destruction. I guess technically it is on a budget, but I also read this column because it's building for fun. This isn't fun.

I feel a bit sad that Ben beat all these other decks and then lost game 10. I mean ... the first creature his opponent played was Ashenmoor Cohort ? Is that a typo ? People rarely play that even in limited ...
At the end of his deck transformation he really didn't have a reason to be playing green haha, blue would probably work better. Suspend + evacuation for more stalling. Play like 1 Fencer Clique to avoid decking.
Also .. where is Rift Bolt ?

I like this deck. The land destruction is only part of the control strategy and not landdestruction at any cost. (And if your deck can't deal with a bit of landdestruction here and there, you are maybe just building bad decks :P)
