this is stupid. why does wizards print overpowered overplayable crap like this. it's like they don't care about their customers at all.
all i want to say is i don't understand why anyone would play this card, unless they were stupid and didn't even understand ANYTHING.
LAME. only for tournaments or winning decks.
(this would be easier if it wasn't such a neato card)

You said it! How am I supposed to attack for 7 with this card? Maybe I can combo it with Mirrorweave but that's about the most fun it will be.
(On the more serious side, I really don't think a fairly simple destroy effect should be rare.)

And just when 5cc stopped being green...
This is fairly healthy for the format. It pains me that we have Doran, Colossus, Garruk, Thoughtseize, and Profane Command and no Rock deck. This might fix that.

Well, it's not Mythic, and it's in a small set, so that will help. My feeling is that other rares like Thought Hemorrhage and mythics like Sphinx of the Steel Wind will take some of the value. I don't think Maelstrom Pulse can get that high. Maybe $12 like Noble Hierarch?
