FAIL! the videos are Private. How do you expect to help newbies with premiers and Videos that Don't work!

even though I already know how the majority of the Mechanics work, you'd think it'd be nice to have them public :P so even rules masters like myself can actually touch up on the info they think they know.

that's pretty standard for prereleases. the 3 shards packs replace the shards tournament pack we would have received in the past

Yeah, I think ALL of the third set pre-releases have not had the second set in the Sealed flights, since the point of the pre-release is to look at new cards. The only reason they have you get the first part is that's where a lot of the utility comes from, and you always need some utility.

And glad that the videos being private seems to be a bug, and not a 'did I miss the newsletter?' situation.

The videos are now live. Sorry for the timing mix-up.

I feel silly asking this, but if I Bituminous Blast something during the opponent's turn, could I still play a non-instant spell (like that Sprouting Thrinax) at instant speed since it is revealed with cascade? Or are all spells still under their normal timings, even if I don't have to pay the mana cost?

Thanks.

Cascade will allow you to play that spell, instant, sorcery, creature, or enchantment, even planeswalker, regardless of the timing (unless another effect says you can't.
