I know you don't like elves but I really like the card(s) Essence Warden / Soul Warden . But If you don't want to write for either of those how about my good 'ole boys Keldon Marauders

I don't mind elves at all so I might give the Wardens a go.

I've got one that came up at FNM about Korlash. I'm not the official poem guy of the thread, so this won't really be official, but I like it. It goes to a song.
My Korlash sends your boys to the 'yard And they're like "He regenerates, dawg" Damn right, he regenerates dawg You can kill it, but you have to WoG

Keldon Marauders Grey skin fading in the dwindling light, Entropic fires cloud their vision, Scarlet figures enter the fight, Scarring when they are riven.
So I come back, and everything got bleached.
my ffn.net count is http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1408673/ if you like that sort of thing.
Don't kill anyone.

Love your poem YingLung. At least the words, still trying to figure out the rhythm and meaning. It's cool though. I think to be an 'official' poet you have to write for requests, but only SpoonyBard knows what he intended so whatever. Rap in the geek's fashion until someone tells you not to, and there seems to be a consensus on that matter. That's a very short poem for any sort of lyrics. (Hint: I don't get sarcasm, just a disclaimer so I don't feel embarrassed.) Rasputin Dreamweaver Over, under, over, under Thread by thread and stitch by stich Weave the path to man's redemption Satisfy the spirit's itch Under, over, under, over Set the shuttle, choose the strand Switch the place of dream and real Loom of light at his command Men we follow, hearts athrill With the dawn of a new day Drunk on hope, aflame with ideal For a concept we shall pray Tapestry of thought and dream -- Guide us to the land we've seen!

Grey skin fading in the dwindling light, (The KM are fading away, they have grey skin)
Entropic fires cloud their vision, (They're angry, battlemad, and yet another reference to vanishing)
Scarlet figures enter the fight, (the vanishing manifests itself as red disintegrating bits, vanishing 2 means you are largely red by the time combat comes around)
Scarring when they are riven. (when they die, or their mortal form is shed, they poke a player, I chose to represent this as a scar rather than a burn. kinda like they hurt you long ago, so you're scarred, even though they just lava darted you.)
there's something about weaving that attracts metaphor and myth. nice blending thereof.
So I come back, and everything got bleached.
