A free trial server, eh? That sounds like it might be worth trying out.

All I read was "Blah blah blah no news on leagues blah blah blah".

And lo, a resounding "meh" was heard.

It's been almost a year, and still no ability to track physical cards?

H--- I've started building one from SCRATCH and it's almost done. And I only work on it when I have free time. Considering I work 30+ hours a week and go to school full time, my "free time" is mostly "I should be sleeping, but I don't want to time."

:/
So.  Green needs an iconic creature type, eh?  How about wurms!

Casual Magic player since Onslaught.  80% TIMMY, 20% Johnny.

Want a free, graphics-based, collection database to inventory your cards?
I made one!  Feedback welcome.  Beta 5.0 (Magic 2011) now available!
Program runs offline, includes art, Oracle text, import/export options, and a complete list of every printing of every card.

I really shouldn't get my hopes up about a new UI should I?

I miss playing on MTGO... it was the only way I could play Magic anymore.

I have to say that "handling" charge on redemption is pretty brutal. I'd even accept $5 for the first set to encourage people bulk ordering but $53 on 10 sets seems crazy and I know I have a good 8 I might redeem at least.

Yeah I don't even contemplate redemption. I mean I can imagine that it is at the top of Everyone's list, but sorry not mine. I talk to international players, they say the same thing, too expensive for what you get. We did buy the packs the cards came in you know. How about a tiny little bit of discount for each booster purchased to get the cards you are redeeming.

Also how about the other way around. All the real paper cards I purchased and sit in binders. I could mail them to WotC and they could pay the shipping and hey presto they turn up in my Online collection. LOL. Yeah I know why would they pay money. Well I will tell you. You do a small favour for your customer and it goes straight to his head and next thing ou know he claims that your company is the best there is. Yeah yeah wishful thinking. LOL.

I will just hang onto my cradz and share them with my family. Online and Real Paper. Hey at least the paper ones are truly mine.

Last thing I want to say is when good news does finally arrive I might be dead of old age. I feel like I wasted a year, but I am hoping for better days ahead. I reckon if by this time next year if we don't have Leagues and nothing has changed MTGO will be dead. I got heaps of energy left, but I wish we could have some really great news just for once.

Redemption is a bad joke still. Making the transfer free of FURTHER charges is the only correct way.

I don't play MODO because I couldn't see spending money on fake cards. But, the redemption program is the only thing that could convince me to join. However, after seeing how much it is to redeem the cards, I don't think I'd be joining anytime soon. From what I've seen, the packs are much more expensive than they are in real life, so I had assumed the extra cost included the cost of redemption. Apparently I was wrong. For the uninitiated, this deal just doesn't really make sense.
