So, B&R announcement?
My guess is that Counterbalance gets the chop in Legacy, along with the obligatory tinkering with Online formats. Counterbalance is just a silly card in legacy, and it makes deck-building very unfun, as you have to warp your curve to avoid T1: Mox, Counterbalance, lucksack a 1 on top to counter your first play, T2: Top. GG.

It's going to be tough to get a Turn 1 Mox in Legacy without being DQ'ed

I know Top is annoying for stalling, but I was still a little disappointed that they chose to get rid of that and keep Counterbalance. Perhaps I am about to be be disappointed a second time. I would like my Tops to be legal somewhere, for crying out loud.

Spoiler: Show
I have a feeling that goodies banned here or unbanned here very well might come back in FTV: Exiled

EDIT: Burn [I love budget Legacy decks] could use Counterbalance bannage big time.
Magic player since July 2004. Timmy/Vorthos/Spike.

Well, the title suggests that at least something is going to get banned in a big format, which is interesting, since it would be really dissappointing to find that only some obscure tutor is getting banned in Prismatic.

It's too late and beyond any hope, but god, I want to see Bitterblossom and Reflecting pool banned in Standard so bad...
If Limited gets in the way of printing good Constructed cards...

Kaleidoscope sounds like a fun format... I imagine mana-fixing will be a must.

Also, support for it will be shown in April... isn't Alara Reborn coming out then? Hmm....

So.....

Kaleidoscope? Pick up your Pillar of the Paruns now?

Pillar + Reflecting Pool is gonna be batguana crazy in that format.

Kaleidoscope makes me wonder if it reflects something about future sets. Yes Shadowmoor and Alara blocks will be in for a long time. Ravnica has a couple years left too. But in order for this format to remain in existance, they need some reasonable gold cards pretty much every set and a multicolor (gold or hybrid) set or block every few years. Back to back Mirroden/Kamigawa blocks would probably kill it from stagnation.
