Hey! Are you really saying that Blood Funnel  is less usefull than Mudhole  ?!
Just for that, the Funnel's going into my Puppet Conjuror  deck!
LOL I said nothing of the sort. Bookmarks are mandatory items - absolute must-haves, and having several of them is a very good thing!
I wish I could remember my friend's deck that "abused" Blood Funnel but I'll be darned if I can. I remember a lot of 1/1 tokens and spells going off for far cheaper than they should have but Ravnica was so long ago that I just can't recall it. I should ask him if he still has it together - if he ever logs back into MTGO. Apparently, V3 doesn't get along well with his computer.
This forum shouldn't have been made active until it was finished. There's just no excuse for this piece of garbage.

The thing I have against Blood Funnel - other than the fact I pulled loads from Ravnica instead of duals or Loxodon Heirarch  or Char  - is that basically in any deck you'd want to play it, Ashnod's Altar  does the same thing way better.

The thing I have against Blood Funnel - other than the fact I pulled loads from Ravnica instead of duals or Loxodon Heirarch or Char - is that basically in any deck you'd want to play it, Ashnod's Altar does the same thing way better.
But Ashnod's Altar wasn't in Standard at the time. You can almost always find a card that's better than one that's in Standard, even with cards that are actually good, rather than just one you have to work REALLY hard to make even slightly playable.
That, and I don't have Ashnod's Altar , and I refuse to play inferior white-bordered filth.
And the original one talks funny.

This I know, but I don't play standard. I never claimed my hatred of Blood Funnel was rational or even particularly, seriously, justified :p
