I must say that the fact that there will be an announcement has taken my interests. Most announcements do. Can't wait.

Is it just me, or has there been an awful lot of announcements lately?

And so people say to me, "How do I know if a word is real?" You know, anyone who's read a children's book knows that love makes things real. If you love a word, use it! That makes it real. Being in the dictionary is an artificial distinction; it doesn't make the word any more real than any other word. If you love a word, it becomes real.

I agree. And so far none of the announcements have been particularly exciting, at least to me.

Well, it's a start. I went into the city once for a pre-release. At Neutral Ground. A little weird to hop the train into NYC for a big pre-release when I could've just head up to Edison or whatnot, but I guess it'd be better to take the train.

I fell and hurt my knee. :<

Please ensure this doesn't happen at future prereleases. :>

Well I consider most of these changes positive. I'm not so sure about the limited locations for the Big prereleases but I am in driving distance of both NYC and Boston so its much better then the current system was.

Though without hard numbers for things like prize increase I find it pretty hard to comment fully on this Announcement.

We got the message. There will be drafts at the Conflux Prereleases.

I wonder if that one guy who found out how many times you could put "DRAFT " in the given number of characters had anything to do with this?

Good to see the one thing I really cared about came back. Thank you. From the bottom of my Magic-playing organ, whatever that is.

If I read this correctly, it means that WotC is running the New York City prerelease and not Grey Matter (unless there are more than one in NYC). If so, this is great news.

Hands?

Also, good to see a follow up, and good that they are giving the impression they are listening to us, even if they secretly aren't (which I'm not saying is true, just saying that if it were true, the fact that they put the effort in to make it seem like they were listening is nice)
