Brilliant Ultimatum, perhaps? Hopefully it isn't another Ultimatum, but I suppose that it wouldn't be to bad to see it-for the art, if nothing else.
Thanks, Hdier

I would like a River Kelpie deck. In my opinion, it seems like a more interesting card to build a deck around. It's also available in theme decks, which, in my opinion, is the definition of budget. Keep up the good work Jacob Van Lunen! You're doing amazing.

i'm sick of seeing "you MUST run 4 Cryptic commands"
give it a go and you'll be greatly rewarded...by the fans that is...i'm broke...that's why i play budget decks.

I'd like to see BOTH a Rites of Flourishing deck and a River Kelpie deck. These seem like fine cards to build around in the next two weeks.
But, please play more than 5 games with the decks you build - ideal would be 10-15 games.
"Light Weenie" has a 60% win rate out of five games - not enough to really get a good enough feel for it.

Heh I played against Peter with that deck and it was quite annoying. I almost boarded out Firespouts as they do so little against that deck. I also couldn't draw Void for the life of me. I vote for a deck with Kelpie and Rites.

I'd like to see River Kelpie in a deck. The persist makes him a great card advantage engine despite being a vulnerable creature. Heck, he earns back the cardboard he's printed on when your opponent wastes that first removal spell on him. You get to draw a card when he persists back! I've personally been trying to find a home for him in a blue-black deck, especially once I get a Memory Plunder or two.

I'd rather see Rites of Fluorishing. River Kelpie is a singleton weirdo, we won't learn anything from it except how to build a River Kelpie deck. Rites of Fluorishing features abilities from everywhere. Also it is nowhere near as obvious.
I also disagree with the person who said 10-15 games. I think that'd take way too long. Five is fine imo, unless they are all short, uninteresting, and against the same deck. In that case go with six or so.

My vote's for River Kelpie . I didn't regret playing it in my Reanimator deck, and Retrace shenanigans sound like fun.
