OMG Doug!!! You must have listened to us form last week. Damn dude! This was an awesome comic/thingy. It kept me wanting to turn page after page. Dialogue was a little bleak but hellz yeah for a killer storyline!! It's definitely left me wondering if Brannon is Chandra's son or brother. If it's her son, DAAAAAAAAAAMN! who got to knock up Chandra?!?! First Jaya, now Chandra....awesome Still they way she reply's hey kiddo, leaves me a little skeptical. Still, it's awesome you listened to us from last week and didn't just add 1more crappy page. Top job!!!

Or this was planed, and they wanted to tease us.
Anyway, I have no idea if Chandra is native to the plane that they are currently in.
The dialogue was not too bad, but man, Jace sounds pretty stupid when he thinks about people's thoughts.
Not this is bad, because I think it adds to the character.

I really am liking Jace. No-nonsense kind of apathetic dude. Just how a countermage should sound, in my opinion.

Very nice. I can't even remember what happened last time, but this comic will probably be in my mind when the next one comes out.
The art really let me get more of their characters. Jace is no longer an emo guy, but instead he's a dull lapdog of some old lady. Chandra is just getting hotter[/lamepun].

That was very, very intriguing. The creative, positive emotions side of red gets a few frames: The color most likely to have its people smiling, versus the color least likely to smile. All too often that aspect of the color seems to go completely by the wayside: Kudos on showing it here.
I also like the way you can see Chandra's Mama bear style concern for her people, the positive side of being ruled by emotions, versus Jace's dead fish coldness: This is just a job, the child is just a means to an end, nothing about this really matters except doing what was asked. Great contrast, and definitely highlights the red-blue dichotomy.

WAY better than the others (ajani and vess).
The dialogue was minimal yet effective, just how it should be. There should only be enough text to explain what is going on, nothing more.

Interesting comic, and a nice lead in to the Jace vs. Chandra deck and what will apparently be the main storyline to the first Planeswalker novel. I'm liking how the story is building here -- it should be an interesting read.
As a side note, Chandra really seems to be channeling Ronald McDonald in the panel when she thanks Brannon for the pendant thing -- maybe it's just me but I picked that up immediately when I came to that page.
