Now, see, Primal Order is one of those cards that you try to sneak out, and you better have the nads to back it up. If you can't defend yourself against 4 or 5 people all beating on you at the same time, DON'T cast it. BIG bull's-eye card in my groups. There's usually a Disenchant thrown at that point anyway. Same with Teferi's Puzzle Box . Big red target right on your forehead. In spray paint. Or King-sized Sharpie.

Sterling Grove and Propaganda will likely help. Of course, that would likely force you to dabble in non-basics as well. Well, I suppose that not needing a great deal of them would help.

My latest fav mp combo would have to be Everlasting Torment plus Volcanic Fallout plus Kulrath Knight . Kulrath will at least survive the huge burn and everything else on the field gets wither counters. No can attack or block the just sit there! The torment plus fallout alone is pretty sweet on it's own though.

Cards like Crypt Rats , Thrashing Wumpus , Pestilence can really help give you control of the board. Shield of Kaldra is awesome for making something a total pain to get rid of. Maze of Ith for Chaos games, it survives most board wipes, and it can dissuade a player from attacking you altogether, especially early to mid game. Silent Arbiter can really mess people up. Dominus of Fealty is awesome for riding another player's success. Reins of Power can totally catch people off guard, it's hilarious. Followed Footsteps is great too. A cute little combo for multiplayer is Geth's Grimoire and Words of Waste Another fun one is Pain Magnification and Megrim ; Then hit someone with Blightning

Shriveling Rot and Pestilence are always fun. Also Braids, Cabal Minion is my vote for most fun creature in multiplayer!

Shhhhh... don't tell my playgroup, but I've just made a new deck around my shiney new Blood Tyrant's I picked up on the cheap. Teehee. I can't wait to run it. Sure, its probably total jank right now (I think the curve starts at 3, jumps to 5, then jumps to 7) but I just want to lay out that first Blood Tyrant to see what happens. It also has Lightning Reaver in it, too. Just 'cause.

I also want to stress the importants of MASS REMOVAL! Austere Command <--- my personal favorite for $$$ vs benefit. very nice Rout Mutilate Final Judgement Winds of Wrath Extinction Savage Twister
etc etc Since multiplayer is slower, higher casting cost removal spells can see the light of day. Since these are not as Spikey (not tournamnet staples) then their $$$ cost is less. You can find playsets of many of thse really cheap, and become HUGELY playable in multiplayer.
