Have you guys ever tried Griffin Guide ? It come in very handy when cast on a Swiftblade, or an any critter you just need to deal some damage and avoid chump blocking. I realize that Dillo Cloak serves a similar purpose, this would be an alternative with different pros and cons. Currently I run 2 of each.

Is this a dead deck? Here's what I ran at my shop this week: 25 Creatures 2 Isamaru, Hound of Konda 4 Mogg Fanatic 4 Grim Lavamancer 4 Kird Ape 4 Dark Confidant 3 Gaddock Teeg 4 Tarmogoyf 15 Non-creature spells 3 Gaea's Might 4 Tribal Flames 4 Lightning Helix 4 Vindicate 20 land 4 Bloodstained Mire 4 Wooded Foothills 2 Sacred Foundry 2 Temple Garden 2 Stomping Ground 2 Blood Crypt 1 Overgrown Tomb 1 Godless Shrine 1 Steam Vents 1 Mountain SB: 4 Tormod's Crypt 2 Kami of Ancient Law 2 Ronom Unicorn 4 Ancient Grudge 1 Gaddock Teeg 2 Vexing Shaman Went 2-2, First loss was vs. Faeries (The unexpected Umezawa's Jitte s and Force Spike s in his deck destroyed me), 2nd to a Goblin deck (I couldn't stop drawing land. Even with 20 lands, 8 of which are fetches, I was topdecking too many land, in 2 separate games I topdecked 5 land in a row FTL. Automatic changes for next Ext tourney are: -1 Sacred Foundry -1 Stomping Ground -1 Temple Garden -1 Blood Crypt +4 Windswept Heath Running 8 fetches as opposed to 12 hurt the deck more than I expected and more than playtesting showed. I knew better, of course, but couldn't acquire the Windswept Heaths in time. Looking for any suggestions to help improve my matchups against the stronger decks in my metagame, namely Faeries, Enduring Ideal, Goblins, and Affinity. Perhaps there's Shadowmoor cards beside Vexing Shusher that could help? Considering Engineered Plague for sideboard, but unsure what to drop. I haven't needed the Crypts from the board yet, but there's no telling if I'm going to end up needing graveyard hate next time. If the graveyard hate stays, the Tormod's Crypts will come out for Leyline of the Void .

Zoo is better against control and combo decks than some of the other aggro decks that are popping up, but the down side is that its not that great vs other aggro decks. I play many diff decks and a simple WW deck with 4x Auriok Champion and Jittes can disembowel Zoo decks most of the time. Its seems to me taht Zoo was really created from boros because it had a better matchup vs Rock than regular boros due to its ability to deal mega damage fast. Rock is all but dead in the ext format now (finally), though Deathcloud has replaced it somewhat. The other really bad thing is how much damage you take from the Ravinca duals and fetches. A mono red burn deck barely has to cast any spells to get an easy win way before you can cast dillo cloak usually. Keep in mind also that this deck is losing Gaeas might after rotation, so there really will be no point in playing it imo.

Goyf is included in a lot of zoo builds, though its not totally necessary since it rarely speeds up your clock. This deck deals damage with gaeas might on a boros and tribal flames to the face, all on turn 3. In a perfect world anyways.
Goyf is fine. Watch Wolf is also fine if you dont have any goyfs. /shrug. Keep in mind, grim lavamancer can be a superstar in this deck and goyf isnt really friends with Mr Grim.

so if i planned on buying this deck about how much would it cost $500 is a conservative overestimate. You for sure need the mana base, otherwise Tribal Flames is going to be horrible, and it will be hard to run four colors consistently.

This is a dead deck.
Here's the zoo build I would run after rotation:
note, this developed out of Boros Deck Wins minus Barbarian Ring and Lavamancer, ended up looking like Goyf Deck Wins with a couple Isamarus but after the board can use all three colors' best solutions to the problems of the new metagame (Affinity and UW Tron).
2 Isamaru Hound of Konda 4 Kird Ape 4 Mogg Fanatic 4 Tarmogoyf 4 Blistering Firecat 3 Countryside Crusher 2 Watchwolf
8 Fetches 7 Shocks 6 Basics
4 Rift Bolt 4 Molten Rain 4 Lightning Helix 4 Incinerate
Sideboard:
4 Kataki, War's Wage (ends affinity for 2 mana...why not?) 3 Shattering Spree 4 Magus of the Moon (I'm anticipating a lot of people dusting off Tron) 1 Blood Moon (yeah, what the hell!) 3 Vexing Shusher
