Am I wrong in thinking that it would be pretty good in Zoo? It helps out with mana, especially with fetchlands rotating. I realize it is slower at first, but the fact that the creatures are free, have flash, and are uncounterable should make up for it in the long run.
Edit:
Aether Vial is lolsauce in Merfolk, Fish, and Bant. It could. My only experience with Aether Vial in Zoo is in Legacy. It's not playable there, but there is a pretty big difference between Legacy and Extended.

My only issue with Jitte is it really swings games in aggro vs. aggro matchups. If you put two decks against eachother that run Jitte chances are the one that draws it, plays it, and activates it first will win. It kind of feels like a race to see who gets their Jitte first. Is it broken? Not really it's just really really good. Just because something is used in a lot of different decks doesn't mean it's broken, just really good. Extended has such a diverse metagame, if only 1 deck was running Jitte and that deck was dominating the format then I could agree with everyone who wants Jitte banned. However this is not the case. I agree with this, and I don't think Jitte being banned would be a bad thing. I hate it when aggro matchups just go down to "who draws Jitte first". That being said, it's not breaking the format so I think it's okay for Jitte to be legal.
I hope Top stays banned. It really does draw out matches when people are topping 1 or 2 times every turn. Even if an average top activation takes 10 seconds (very generous, I might add) it can add 5 minutes or more on to a game*.
Vial can stay banned. It's pretty broken and it's going to rotate in a year and a half anyways, so I don't think anyone will miss it.
*Not scientific numbers, if you take issue with my statement then attack my position, not the numbers

Apparently it has been a while since anyone played with Top. It takes a **** load of time on its own. Fetches were just icing. This definitely, Top itself just drags out games and technically you could just abuse it for the draw, which some people did on time.
Right now, as much as I hate Goyf and Jitte for being extremely powerful, they are not format morphing. Aether Vial is good in a lot of decks, Affinity just making it insane. Skullclamp has its obvious reasons. Disciple just makes Affinity too fast.

Isn't PT Austin post-Zendikar, with Onslaught out?

Goyf is pretty easy to deal with, but Jitte is just plain annoying. It's not as big of a problem as Timmy makes it out to be, but it's still very annoying.
I mean, if they banned Top because it made games too long and not because it was overpowered, perhaps they'll ban Jitte because it's an auto-include in all aggro decks?

One of the problems with top is that too many people were cheating when using it. That's not gonna change just because of fetchlands.
Vial is simply too powerful.
Hypergenesis doesn't seem that bad. There have almost always been combo decks in Magic, they're a part of the game.

Fetchlands rotating will still decrease the amount of time spent Topping, though. Also, Top will see less play than it did before; probably only with Counterbalance and maybe in some combo decks.

How much does the rotation of fetch-lands impact the power-level of Tarmogoyf?
I realize that it will still be an extremely powerful card, and among the top threats in the format. I'm just wondering.

I'm not sure how to fix that problem, but a card being easy to cheat with is definitely not a valid reason for banning it.
