Form of the Dragon? Awesome idea.
Also, is that how promo printings work re: legality in Vintage and Legacy prior to the set it's in actually being released? That seems... weird. Not like it'll ever be relevant.

The art for Form of the Dragon is great. Looks like Vol to me. The rest is decent, although I think the original Nicol Bolas art is ten times better.

Most of the Mirage Dragons are on the reserved list, so that cycle is not represented. Huh? According to http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=ma … rintPolicy
All policies described in this document apply only to non-premium, tournament-legal Magic cards.[/quote] Since all of the From the Vault Dragons are premium (foil), the reserved list doesn't say you can't reprint them.

Actually I think this is within the policy: Wizards of the Coast has and may continue to print special versions of cards not meant for regular game play, such as oversized cards. These are tournament legal and meant to be played with. If it was gold bordered like that old CE set it would be different.
Of course, "premium" is poorly defined and they need to clarify that. They can't have their writers say one thing and something else written in a policy.

I would take the Reprint Policy to cover any cards for retail purchase. They can get away with fnm cards (doubtful, but they could if they wanted to) or judge foils (done, i think) because these cards aren't directly purchased from Wotc, whereas FOV:D is a retail entity that they're making money off of.

Bah! Down with the Reserved List! It only gets in the way. There should be a poll asking if people want to keep the Reserved List.

I really like the new art they previewed. I cant decide which art is the best the new Nicol Bolas or Form of the Dragon. I am so glad they redid the art for Nicol Bolas. The new art actually gets the point across that your getting smacked in the face by a humongous, fire breathing dragon.
