I voted for poverty because I'm not really sure how that would even work. The definition tends to be relative, so to eliminate it you would pretty much need alien wizard genie magic. Everything else I can at least conceptualize.
That is of course unless it's one of those sneaky genies who grants you your wish but not the way you wanted. Then he would just say "presto, enslaved into communism" and then no one could be called impoverished because we all have an equal share of nothing.
Last week's went rather expectedly, I think, with pretty clear voting tiers. Although I think Machiavelli would be better at multiplayer politics while Sun Tsu, while the latter would clean up in duels.

I don't think this thread is talking about that poll...but since theres no other place to discuss it anyways...
I'd vote disease, cuz well, i'm not affected by poverty (hurray @ selfishness), death is a necessity, infortunatly (sure, it be fun beign immortal @ first, but when sun stops burning and theres no light and stuff, u wish u wouldn't exist anymore....
Boredom....doesn't kill or anything. I can live with it. I'm actually wuite used to it.
Violence oh well. Tough choice but I guess i'm not that much affected yet. Maybe if i'd live in a country where theres war, maybe my opinion would change
My favorite card is sharpshooter, I so love killing all the 1/1 XD
Well its probly due to the funny moments i had with that card in my life

Zirilan of the Claw. No question. Nothing is more fun than swinging for lethal on turn 5 off of Mana Flare / Zirilan / Dragon Tyrant.

Japanese ReveillarkBecause it was the card that turned my rating around after I bought it and it made so many people misplay because they couldn't read it and didn't ask me to explain it. When it LEAVES PLAY!!! it triggers.  Bouncing counts as it leaving play

Fireshrieker's my favorite. Namely because of the name (is that redundant?) is hilarious, and since playing with the card, I've always wanted my nickname to be Fireshrieker. I started playing around the time of Mirrodin and loved all the equipment.
The first deck I ever built completely on my own was a deck based on Modular creatures, Skullclamp, and Skeleton Shard. My opponents would always know when I was holding a Fireshrieker because I could never keep a straight face. I can't count how many times I had both a Fireshrieker and a Loxodon Warhammer attached to a creature with dozens of +1/+1 counters on it.
One game, I was attacking for something ridiculous (like 4000 points of damage a turn) with a Solarion equipped with a Warhammer and Fireshrieker. My friend kept blocking with a pest token from Nuisance Engine each turn. I ended up winning just by having an unfathomable life total. It wasn't until the next night that we remembered that Warhammer gives creatures trample.

Hm, I'm bad at choosing favorites, but I'm great at picking my top 5. So in no particular order,
- My foil Sundering Titan --- The art on this looks so cool premium-ified.
- Ib Halfheart, Goblin Tactician --- For some reason, I just really like the overall flavor and design on this card.
- Nova Chaser --- Everyone I've pointed this at agrees, a 10/2 trampler is sheer awesomeness.
- Time Stop --- I want a copy of this without reminder text, because that would beyond awesome.
- Reya Dawnbringer --- Someday, I will play this card in a free-for-all, it won't die, and it will be awesome.

My favorite card; Banshee!!!
It completly sucks but I'm crazy about the art and I'm sure I'll find a good way to include it in a deck someday.(It was in my first deck ever, but that deck sucked to)
