Okay well he asked for Spawnwrithe deck suggestions, so here they come >> (In Standard Edition! :P) I find the best sue for Spawn is to use him in a Token deck, and to be more specific, and White/Green Token deck. Here is the layout of the Game: Turn 1: Llanowar ElvesTurn 2: SpawnwritheTurn 3: Rhys the RedeemedThen from there on out you can toss in cards like Juniper Order Ranger, Wilt-Leaf Liege, or any other cards you can use to pump up your Spanws to multiply them, then swarm them with Rhys. My favorite combo is to get a bunch of tokens (spawn or non-spawn) and go and Mirrorweave a Virulent Sliver :D

Spawnwrithe ideas: Rage ReflectionSpectral Procession + MirrorweaveThe later has the benefit of having Mirrorweave just be an outstanding card no matter what deck it's in. In fact, if you go that route, then you can line up a white/green deck and throw in fun cards like Armored Ascension, Shield of the Oversoul, and Griffin Guide to enhance your Spawnwrithe. Good times!

snakeform works well to screw with combat and get that 1 trample damage in.

The Acme Game-Winning Machine deck could really use some Doubling Seasons.

Spawnwrithe + Creakwood Liege = Lots of 3/3 tokens Garruk can help make tokens, and the aforementioned Rage Reflection is pretty useful if you add red... I also hear there's a green glorious anthem these days. Add tutoring or card draw ( Harmonize is mono-greens best option, right?), some more green/black hybrid creatures, and I like that deck.

Interesting take on the Helix Pinnacle deck. When I saw this card I got the itch to build a deck around it. I was leaning towards [card="Heartbeat of Spring"]Heartbeat[/card]/ Doubling Season/[card="Urza's Tower"]Urzatron[/card], but there are some nice ideas here too. Can't wait for the Eventide release on MTGO

I just have to say, I was laughing so hard at this article, I was CRYING. The flippancy was at a record high, I think. I loved it! I just read it for the wit!

I think my preferred option for a Spawnwrithe deck would be to abuse Lure-type effects. Reason is, there are a million cool and/or abusive things you can do with Mirrorweave and a G/X token deck will win or lose in much the same circumstances without Spawnwrithe. Core cards for the Lure version: SpawnwritheNemesis Mask (expensive, but worth it due to risk of removal) Llanowar Elves (turn one acceleration is essential for a turn two Spawnwrithe) Shinen of Life's Roar (for versatility and redundancy) Various categories of support cards are also needed: * Combat pump. (Maybe Barkshell Blessing?) * Some way to find Spawnwrithe. ( Summoner's Pact?) * Some way to recover destroyed stuff ( Eternal Witness?) I've deliberately avoided specifying a second colour to enable the idea to play nicely with others. That said, if I was building it I'd definitely go G/U and add stuff like Crafty Pathmage, Plaxmanta and some light countermagic to deal with mass removal.

Spawnwrithe suggestions? How about Worldslayer? Stack the triggers so that your Spawnwrithe token is the only thing left on the board after the Worldslayer rapes everything. Its strictly Bash & Breed on an empty board from there! Works nice with persist creatures too.
