Wow.
I never really noticed this column before (not sure why), but if this is what is normally put out, I've been missing a lot. This was an awesome article. I'm going to have to drop in to this column more often.
Thanks, Hdier

I'm most like the Hunter of Eyeblights in-game.

Tribal decks are really, really bad in my playgroup. Well, goblins can compete, but they never win... we're all very combo or control oriented.

Yeah... slivers can get out of hand. I was playing my cousins sliver deck and by turn 5 I had a 27/27 flying, double striking, Sliver Legion with vigilance. But other than that we enjoy them. My cousin has a Gobbo deck that just wins, and my friend has around an 80 card elf deck monstrosity that will win real fast if not stopped. MY cousin and my friend teamed up one night with their awesome decks, 2 on 4. We lost real fast. Yeah, we like tribal stuff

I think i'm closest to a taunting elf, though usually i'm just loud and a bit distracting, and not specifically taunting. i've got a little bit of champion in-game, but i don't usually do any hosting of the play, so food and drink aren't my schtick. as for tribal decks, we've had some truly brutal, some not so bad, and some that just sucked. one mono-green beast deck was particulaly mean, packing all kinds of answers and beats, with wirewood savages and vernal blooms to fuel the pain. Slivers can sometimes get off the ground, but always draw hate at the first sign. elves rarely get off the ground, and draw even more hate at the first sign. aside from the beasts i've seen mono-black zombie beats, w/u merfolk tokens, and a few different builds of dragon tribal/combo, mostly b/r or 5-color all do pretty good. i've got a b/g deck that's technically a spirit tribal deck (though it wasn't built with the format or tribe in mind) that's done alright, and is my favorite pet deck. Finally my mono-blue shapeshifter deck isn't usualy very impressive, but it did manage to pull off treefolk better than the treefolk deck in a 3-man game last month.
This is the happy swamp. Love it. I am red/blue, I think logically and act impulsively.

I am totally a Taunting Elf, haha. I'm always making cracks and I think I kind of annoy other people sometimes. But it's just a habit of mine, I guess.

so far since ferrett left the serious fun articles seem to still be mostly multiplayer oriented. why not bring back ferrett to write said multiplayer articles?
