Even though Scott Johns probably deserves the slot over Justice, before Finkel and Budde, your money would be on Justice.

Don't care who gets in, provided Mike Long doesn't. Why is that man even on the ballot with his history of cheating? I just don't get it.

Picks- no order Ruel Chapin Justice Wiegersma Craig Jones
anti-vote- Mike Long Anti-vote for Long, and yet you vote for Justice? His career is hardly pristine.
Long is on the ballot because he fits the strict criteria. Fortunately the vote decides who gets into the Hall of Fame, and that's what has kept him out. But it's worth remembering that MaRo tossed him a vote as a sort of way to remember Magic's first great villain, because he made a huge impact even if it wasn't directly positive. (Much the way Time Magazine's Man of the Year was once given to Hitler.)

For me, Mike Turian, Scott Johns and Olivier Ruel should be no brainers this year. They not only have the accomplishments but their love for the game made them make major contributions to it. I think this three should go in.
Baberowski, Blume, Rubin, the OMS, Hacker, Ishida and Schwartzman are contenders for the other two spots. I think Baberowski and Rubin are a little bit ahead of the pack.
Jelger, Bram & Chapin will eventually go in, but I think we should be aiming for the first classes for this year's inductees (exception made for Ruel).
