Interesting stuff and, looking at DeckCheck, it seems the Fae are rampant outside of the US as well. However, the thing about the UK meta is that there isn't one, really. Each PTQ seems to have its own local mini-meta, whatever the format. It's really hard to read, and you just have to test against a decent gauntlet then go along with a deck you feel comfortable with.

Why didnt we discus either of the other TWO winning strategies from last couple of weeks? No look at the folk list or the other non fae winner?

Why didnt we discus either of the other TWO winning strategies from last couple of weeks? No look at the folk list or the other non fae winner?
Well, we all know that Faeries is the only deck that matters in this metagame.
That's why. 
He should have mentioned the Elementals deck, though. If I remember right, that particular deck only ran one Soulstoke, which is a very interesting move in this metagame.

It's interesting that, despite the dominance of Faerie decks, each of the PTQs covered in this article had a non-Faerie deck in the top 4. Does this suggest that Faeries are more beatable than the results graphs show?

The R?B deck he talked about insnt an aggro deck BTW. its a control deck. I should know, I was the one who top 8'ed with it.

Awww... No love for the Elementals decks.  I was hoping I'd get some kind of shoutout for my 2nd place deck in Nashville with the Knollspine Invocation in the board, which totally wrecked the Fae all day long. In fact, it wrecked the eventual winner in the finals in the one game of the match that I didn't have to mull to 5. I do like the various Shamans builds, but I don't think anyone's really hit on the best combination just yet, though (at least that I've seen).

Faeries is beatable, of course. Even Affinity pre-bannings was beatable in Block Constructed. They share the fact that they are consistently the best deck in the format, though.
