Words cannot describe how good of a decision it was to finally! give us tokens in the packs.

The tokens are good, and need to be better: two-sided with a different token on each side.
No more advertisements, no more tips and tricks, and no more junk in the tournament packs about the new mechanics.
If you want to supply ads, tips, and mechanics info, then send fliers to the prereleases that players can take ONCE if they WANT. Judges don't need more trash to throw away, and players don't need endless supplies of repeat information.
Try to be helpful, not annoying.

Try to be helpful, not annoying. Excellent points, and for the love of cats, please get rid of the Pro Player cards. Getting one of those in your tournament pack is like finding a mousehead in your box of Junior Mints.

No more advertisements You mean for programs that not everybody knows about? They are a good way to get people interested. I know I read them while I wait for the next pack to come my way.
no more tips and tricks Now you are just being selfish. They are usefull and noobs need them.
If you want to supply ads, tips, and mechanics info, then send fliers to the prereleases that players can take ONCE if they WANT. You don't know how advertising works do you?

I understand how people work.
I see new players all the time at the local store and at prereleases. There is no excuse for not offering the information available on the assorted pack inserts in one convenient format.
If someone new is going to get cards, they are going to get them at a tournament, a store, or from a friend who can help them or also get them a copy of the information (again, in a concise useful format).
That's helpful, not selfish, and has the additional upside of not creating unnecessary waste. And it potentially provides additional useful tokens to players, especially those who do not get many packs.
I don't suppose you would care to provide a counterpoint instead of repeated attacks on the person who made the point.

If someone new is going to get cards, they are going to get them at a tournament, a store, or from a friend who can help them or also get them a copy of the information (again, in a concise useful format). My first pack(s) of magic came from general toy stores. It took a lot of time before I found people who actually knew the game, longer before I entered a dedicated game store, and waaaay longer before I even heard of tournaments.
Maybe a larger-than-you-think percentage is like that? (I have no idea)

I don't suppose you would care to provide a counterpoint instead of repeated attacks on the person who made the point. Allow me.
When I was introduced to magic, it was by a friend who I only saw once in a while, and barely knew any more about the rules then I did. Were I, at that time, presented with a planeswalker card, a split-second card, or a suspend card, I would have been confused far beyond any comprehension.
The majority of people who play Magic do not, and will not ever visit Magicthegathering.com, and as such you can't expect them to look here. The tips and tricks cards the the simplest and most elegant fashion of teaching complex rules to beginner players.
The advertisements I could care less for, however, and I really don't see them doing much good.
