I'm definitely going to be in the top 8.

Good luck to everyone else.

63 cards in the japanese as well?

Is the key to winning events right now to play 63 cards?

Absolutely; as a matter of fact, the more cards you play, the more power you can pack into your deck, so play as many cards as possible

Yay for girls! Though I can't help but wonder if calling attention to the no girls problem is helping or hurting it. I know a fair number of girls who play, but they don't seem to like playing competitively.

I'm with you on this one. If it does help, that certainly doesn't feel (to me) like the way to be doing it... it felt like Faeries, Faeries, awesome story, Faeries, girls in Magic, Faeries, GW, GW, GW, GW, T2 tech, T2 tech.

See what I mean? It looks like an afterthought. Something Acquisition tacked in there.

IS there even an Acquisition department? Cause I get the mental image of a Board of Shadowy Figures-style thing.

So pretty. I would like to see more girls playing magic with us, too.

I am the only girl—there was a girl I saw playing at Kuala Lumpur though—and I feel out of place, or like some people think I just 'got lucky' to be here. I felt like I proved myself in Valencia, and didn't just 'get lucky'. I have seen more and more females playing at PTQs lately. There was even one at the PTQ I won, at the top tables, and she lost the last round to not make Top 8. It would be great to see more females playing the game.

On second thought, I wouldn't.

Sorry.
