May 1: I think the Ask Wizards reply, while certainly interesting, kind of missed the point. The point is, in Magic, ANYTHING can fly. Even [card=Patagia Viper]snakes[/card]! If they're on the right plane...

Pegaweb also submitted a question about what WOTC's defensive response would be to a crazed owl flying in through the window and attacking WOTC staff and property. Sadly, that question went unanswered, even on April Fools day.
It was an entirely ludicrous question, phrased in a probing dot-point format.
They may still print it one day. I think the answer could be hilarious. <|:>

I like the wall paper, but too much of the art is on the far left for me.
Still, for once I actually kinda like the border (at least I'm sure I don't hate it). It's unobtrusive and barely there at all.

Best Magic-wallpaper ever.

Besides being even more unnecessarily long-winded than usual, I hope this week's Rules Corner is mistaken about one thing, namely Shield of the Oversoul as the reason for all the "does indestructibility save a creature from zero toughness?" questions lately. Why? Because thanks to the newly improved reminder text for indestructibility, it tells you the answer right on the freaking card! (A point that is also conspicuous by its absence from this week's mass of verbiage.)

Interestingly enough, the reminder text for "indestructible" says exactly what it does. Anyone who doesn't understand Shield of the Oversoul is simply not reading the card. It couldn't be clearer. Anyone who asks: The only thing we can never agree on is whether or not the creature would be killed if it has a toughness of 0. When the card specifically says
If its toughness is 0 or less, it's still put into its owner's graveyard. is just not very smart.
Is this a made-up question by WotC, to illustrate a point, is it real, or is it a made-up question, based on many real questions that ask the same thing?
