Just a brief information for anyone still using MtG Editor.

I know I haven't been working on it lately, but there still were a lot of people using it (more than ever, according to download figures and emails). Actually, I had instead started working on MtG Editor 2, but had not made much headway and had not planned to announce it until it was close to being finished, which would have been at least a few months from now.

Anyway, MtG Editor has been removed from the website and its successor will not be finished. I have received an email demanding that I "cease and desist from any further use or distribution of the MtG Editor tool".

Yes, I had been expecting this for quite some time now, ever since they enjoined MiseTings from publishing Photoshop templates, which is pretty much the same thing. But rather than gripe about it, I want to thank each and every poster here who helped with testing and suggestions. It's been a real learning experience for me as well as a lot of fun.

That said, this is not a goodbye. I'll still be around (infrequently, as always).

The email comes from a legal counsel of WotC. The link I sneakily inserted up there may contain the text of said email. Then again, it may not. I'd check if I were wrote:
