I definitely use Strip Mine , but only to get rid of things like Leechridden Swamp and that Kami land that makes spells uncounterable. I mean with land destruction being taboo in MP you need something to be able to defend yourself against lands that can actually hurt you.

Why do you care about spells being uncounterable in Green/Black? He's running Dash Hopes . Just Kidding.

@fractal God no. I only play one Strip Mine and I only use it to destroy lands that people are using that doesn't just produce mana. ala, manlands, the aforementioned leechridden swamp and so forth. And personally for this particular deck I don't care about uncounterability I was kind of just stating a general statement. @Drahcir I just saw your little 'just kidding'. Whew, because Dash Hopes sucks hardcore. But on a sidenote, yes the Fastbond and the Pox creates quite a lifeloss from myself, much less my opponents. Any ideas on how to feasibly recure the life?

I think Zuran Orb would be quite the imba combo as it gives 2 life per land whereas fastbond only costs you 1. That use of strip mine is fine, i could do it myself (i'd be fancy Vintage then hihi) but my meta is very light on such lands so i'd mainly be annoying ppl or sitting on a cute colourless land.

Zuran Orb might have to make an appearance because I do need to recur life. And I finally broke down and added all 4 Damnation s. And the deck can finally defend itself. With the addition of the black WoG I also noticed that since I stay around for much longer and have access to much more mana, (read sometimes 2 Lake of the Dead out), I think I might add Death Cloud . That could wreck havoc.

If you have Pernicious Deed i would rather play some of those over the 4th damnation (and something else). I noticed that especially with a lake of the dead you can pretty much destroy every permanent that is not indestructable/regenerating/planeswalking... at instant speed . Deathcloud could be a wincon too (you really need the orb for lifegain then) but it's certainly a nice sweeper you can easily recover from. Btw, have you considered Crucible of Worlds ? Maybe it would be too mean because that enables a combo to gain an arbitrarily large amount of life which might not be liked that much in your group (i wouldn't run it at least).

Personally and unfortunately I do not own a single pernicious deed. So alas, I'm stuck with just my Damnations. I haven't added the deathcloud yet, but I'm really wanting too.
I have thought about the crucible, but like you mentioned, I'm not really into gaining infinite life. My group has the rule that if you go infinite, you win, but you remove yourself from the game and the rest of the players continue to play. So . . . infinite sucks.
