Alternate Autocards is a thread on the Meta-Board worth mentioning here in a convenient place.

Why does Pete get to request a specific title?

Thanks, I'll have a look at it.

Why does Pete get to request a specific title?

Hmmm... Because he actually works on M:TG, and has illustrated more cards than any other Magic Artist; and because he's been a constant feature and resource to this forum? That's my theory.

Because 9 out of 10 goblins recommend me. Seriously, I hope giving 11 years of my art career to Magic is enough that no one would begrudge me some freebies.

So, Waza, I was thinking that one additon to the FAQ might be:

Q: How do I become a Magic Artist?

A: Submit a portfolio to Wizards of the Coast and keep your fingers crossed! Here's the URL for Wizards' Submission Guidelines.
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=co … submission

I'm sure you can come up with better wording but getting the URL in the FAQ is the important thing. The actual page is appalingly difficult to find by simply hunting around on the website.

Ja, I've updated that FAQ. That's definitely a question that should be up there in my opinion. Thanks for that Pete, and for the URL.

Just a note: The new autocard feature on the boards now let you rename the links. For example,

[card=Atog]Everyone's favourite WizO[/card]

becomes

Everyone's favourite WizO .

You also may wish to mention the new card button in the editor window.

Quick question. How do you post card images in the editions? I've tried almost everything I can think of.

fifthedition
fifth_edition
5thedition
5th_edition
editionfive
etc.

Any help would be much appreciated.
