how on earth you gonna find so much MD spots to side out vs lark? I can imagine that the garruks will be sided out, but what else?? Primal command should be maindecked anyways. The only two things you side in versus lark are extirpate and void if you're RGb, you side out goyfs and threshers (SCG and treetop villages are enough to win the game for you). If you're straight RG, it's molten D, red akroma, and MAM, taking out the same stuff.
I'll also occasionally side out incinerate and put in sulfurous blast.

What about trying to squeeze a couple Desert s in to use against Faeries? It is pretty much Condemn-on-a-stick against them, which is to say its good until Scion hits. I could see taking my singleton Urza Factory out and one of my two Mouth of Ronom for 2x Desert. Whattya think?

I had a blast playing the G/W/u Big Mana deck last night. Here are my results. Round 1 vs Elves: Game 1: I mulligan down to 5 cards and he runs all over me. Game 2: I WoG and clear the board, He topdecks a Mirri, Cat Warrior and it gets two Obsidian Battle-Axe s and forestwalks right through Akroma ftw. 0-2 Loss Round 2 vs Red Deck Wins Game 1: He only sees two Mountains that get Acid Mossed (I am maindecking Acid Moss over Garruk.) before I play Akroma, He scoops. Game 2: He gets me down to 9, I Primal command up an Akroma and seven life, he scoops. 2-0 Win Round 3 vs "Kinship" Game 1: He gets out some Wolf-Skull Shaman s and a Leaf-Crowned Elder . He was able to outrace me. He wins. Game 2: - 2 Cloudthresher +1 Crovax, +1 Austere Command. Same as game one except I Wrath twice to clear the board. Then Aeon Chronicler hits the board as a 7/7. Two Mouth of Ronoms takes out his blockers for the win. Game 3: He overcommits and I Wrath his board away. I play an Akroma with him having 2 cards in hand. Akroma and Crovax for the win. 2-1 Win Round 4 vs Merfolk. Game 1: She plays some guys and gains some life, I Primal command a Crovax and Gain seven life. Crovax almost clears the board. I play Akroma, and next turn she O rings it. I primal command her O ring on top of her library and shuffle her graveyard into her library. Akroma FTW. Game 2: About the same as game one except I have to deal with a Platinum Angel ( Mouth of Ronom ). 2-0 Win Round 5 vs The Rock Game 1: He missed a land drop and I Acid Moss him on turn 3 and 4. Turn 5 Primal Command to get Akroma, and put Treetop Village on top of his library. I play Akroma FTW. Game 2: -2 Cloudthresher + 1 Acid Moss, +1 Chameleon Colossus He plays 2 Tarmogoyfs. They attack into a couple of Condemns. I play Chameleon Colossus. He plays Damnation. I Primal Command his Treetop Village on top of his library, and go get Akroma. He Thoughtseizes it away. He plays guys untill I Wrath the board away. I draw a Primal Command and shuffle my graveyard back and get Akroma FTW. 2-0 Win. TOP EIGHT Vs Merfolk This went about the same as round four except it goes three games as I go down to six cards on the play in game one. Games 2 and 3 -2 Cloudthresher, +1 Crovax, +1 Austere Command. I win 2-1 Final Four vs "Kinship" Game 1: I Wrath his board away. He plays Taurean Mauler . I Primal Command for seven life and an Akroma. He plays Inner-Flame Acolyte and attacks with it and Taurean Mauler. On my turn I O ring the Mauler. He plays some more guys before I Wrath and play Akroma FTW. Game 2: He outraces me with Wolf-Skull Shaman s and tokens. He wins. Game 3: He gets me down to one life and I top deck an Austere Command to clear the board. I play 2 Primal Commands Getting 14 life, an Akroma in my hand and an Aeon Chronicler in my hand. Next turn I play Akroma. He draws a land. I suspend Chronicler on my turn for one. He draws an Inner-Flame Acolyte . On my turn Chronicler comes into play as a 6/6 and I Mouth of Ronam on his Acolyte. I win. Finals: I split with the guy playing The Rock. G/W/u is a very powerfull deck. I love my new home for Akroma.

What did you cut , in comparison to Woltereck's or any other standard RGb version?

Below is my RGb splashing black AND managing to maindeck primal command, like it should. Deck
Show
The obvious cuts are search for tomorrows and 1 maindeck thresher, in favor of 3 primal commands. I really don't like search for tomorrows, it seems very slow and I don't enjoy topdecking it late game as much as I would into the north. You can't turn 4 garruk into search for tomorrows. Plus, primal command life-gains whatever deficit you gained by slowing down. Void for 3 or 0 against faeries is pretty solid.

Void for 3 or 0 against faeries is pretty solid. If you play a turn two Into the North, and two Wall of Roots on turn three. then you could play Void on turn four, at best. Faeries will counter that. If you Suspend SFT on turn one, it shows up after a turn two acceleration spell. (Into the North, Wall of Roots) Then you could play it turn three. A turn earlier may help.

Void for 3 or 0 against faeries is pretty solid. Cutting a tresher feels like cutting a brine elemental in pickles, not done^^ I'd rather cut one goyf, since he appears to be less MVP as the tresher is, definitely in the current meta... So cutting 1 goyf would give me 1 spot for primal command... That 24'th land i'll never cut as you did. But if you don't have any mana probs etc, keep it like that !

It costs one more mana, but the land comes in untapped, so you still have the same amount of mana up.
You wouldn't run it over ittn though, anyway, because it fetches the snow duals, but it's a solid choice.

Late game search for tomorrows don't grab late-game lands (i.e. mouth of ronom or tresserhorn sinks). Cutting a tresher feels like cutting a brine elemental in pickles, not done^^ That'd be a meta call. Cut one goyf if you like, but primal can easily fit maindeck somewhere.
I very rarely ever get screwed for mana, or my splash, with 23 lands, because of the curve and different breed of accel. In GWu builds I run 24 because it seems more optimal.

Awesome stuff, Shivan. Your meta seems to work for the deck. No Faeries? No Lark? Or just didn't see them? I noticed from your results and my own, Primal Command resolving up an Akroma is about the best, most common play for winning we manage. Hilarious, isn't it? She just wins games, hands down.

I love my new home for Akroma. I run 23 Lands, 4x Into the North, 2x Search for Tomorrow, 3x Fertile Grounds. I never have a problem hitting mana, generally. Of course, my splash is less essential than in the RGb, because my hate vs. Lark is already on color with my deck. So I don't find that late-game Search is useless because I most likely have used Into the North to get what I need earlier on (since I won't need to fix as often).
I am tossing around the idea of dropping a Search for another Fertile Ground and tossing in another land (Treetop Village? Snow-Covered Island?). That would even out, I would think. Still debating.
