Cobra's neat, but I feel like your manabase should be stable enough without him, affording you a stronger card for the slot. Sure, a Broodmate on turn 4 is nice, but it happens much ess often than you think. My "L" key isn't working all the time.
So when UR Delver came out to win a GP, did Christian Calcano email/call you and thank you personally, or was there just a mutual understanding?

Actually because of Cobra, I consistently put out a high number of threats greater than what i would get if i say replaced it with Putrid Leech. Ob Nixilis and Broodmate come out frequently. Cobra will help a Bloodbraid, Blightning, Sprouting Thrinax etc. when the beef isn't in my hand. 2nd turn blightnings are very common in this deck, so are 2-3rd turn bloodbraid elfs. Its not about stability for my manabase but instead acceleration and aggression. By being aggressive with my mana base im able to play better threats faster.
