I'm not sure if it's a joke or a misprint, but I opened a blank card. It's got silver borders in front, a normal MAGIC back, but nothing where the card should be. It replaced one of my uncommons, too, so if it's a joke, it's not very funny

The card behind Look at me Im RD  is a Moat. Now I know my ABCs  's flavor text is a joke on "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog" Zzzyxass Abyss  has an armor thrull  getting sucked in and Baron Sengir  waiting in line (Pete Venters illustrated an armor thrull, the Baron and Zzzyxas's Abyss)

Kill! Destroy!  has a squirrel getting bombarded with: a basketball, a sword, a fork, a safe, a water ballon, an axe, a toaster and an arrow. The card is also filled with bullet holes and dents Persecute Artist  : the girl is holding an oversized Serra Angel (illustrated by Rebecca Guay) and is surrounded by the kind of very muscular guys Crawford favored. Eye to eye  's art is a Clockwork Orange joke. Deal damage  the guy about to get roasted is holding two sticks with marshmallows on them. One of the sticks also has a carrot on it (marshmallows for donkeys, maybe?) Bosom Buddy  's art and flavor text indicate that this is a support group of sort. The expansion symbol on symbol status  has arms and legslike the symbols in the art. There's a post it on duh  that says " will players understand the creature is being crushed by two parentheses Not a chance". The reminder text on the card says "Reminder text is any italicized text in parentheses that explains rules you already know" Frazzled editor  is beating up Phage (or maybe Jeska..?) with punctation marks on Punctuate  . Looks like Goblin Secret Agent  is trying to hold a marshmallow in front of the laser about to cut him up.

AWOL isn't the only card that lets you see through to the back of the card, Gluetius Maximus  also shows the back where it's power and toughness should be, and at the bottom right corner of it's art box. I also love how Spell Counter  stamps "Rejected" on the incoming spell, priceless. I wonder if it's intentional that the art of Tainted Monkey  reminds me of the Voodoo priestess from The Secret of Monkey Island series... (Not that she's a monkey, but the setting does match) I still can't identify the monster in the background of Wordmail  , but it seems to have a much smaller sword and shield (Infact, it's sword looks a little like a spoon!)

- It is an attack on flavour text as many players feel insulted by adding flavour text to the game
- Also, the card insults the intelligence of the players directly, which is why players were insulted by adding flavour text
Also, is anyone compiling the jokes into a total, or is that work left to The Werefrog for starting the thread?

Reminder text, not flavor text  And well, normally the best place to compile the jokes would be in the first post, which is yours, so you're the one who should compile them. I'd compile them in Collector Number order, with an entry for each card followed by the jokes on the card. If you're not up to it, I'd be willing to do it, but then probably it'd need its own thread (preferably as a sticky).
