I wasn't able to go thanks to money issues, but here are two decks that top 8'ed and their reports:

I'm sure eventually people will actually start testing with/against the deck and figuring out how to beat a decent pilot instead of just blowing it off as a skill-less, unattractive pile. Fortunately, even the recent successes of ichorid in the states probably won't do this.
People are stubborn, they hate having to change their decks to accommodate something they have no respect for. I doubt that we will see an increase in main deck hate from decks that didn't already run it. Besides, some of the most effective hate is either unplayable in most decks or mostly dead in other matches.

This is my current list. Sadistic Hypnotist is nuts. He's mean't to win g1 then boarded out. Some matches he's worth keeping in, though. So without further adieu, Ichorid 09: // Lands 3 Gemstone Mine 4 City of Brass 4 Bazaar of Baghdad // Creatures 1 Sadistic Hypnotist 4 Ichorid 4 Stinkweed Imp 4 Golgari Thug 3 Fatestitcher 4 Narcomoeba 4 Golgari Grave-Troll 1 Flame-Kin Zealot 1 Ancestor's Chosen // Spells 4 Serum Powder 3 Dread Return 4 Cabal Therapy 4 Chalice of the Void 4 Leyline of the Void 4 Bridge from Below // Sideboard SB: 2 Darkblast SB: 4 Chain of Vapor SB: 4 Emerald Charm SB: 1 Gemstone Mine SB: 4 Unmask

Wow, that is some sick card. Think of it in Standard, with all the tokens...

Wow, that is some sick card. Think of it in Standard, with all the tokens... Yeah it would be pretty intense in standard. Too bad it's not. Usually in the list I run 3 but decided to have 3 different targets.

forgive my ignorance, but what's the point of Arbor Dryad? It is a free non-token creature that can fuel cabal therapy, dread return and bridge from below. Since it is also a forest it can be fetched with fetch lands as well.

I like ichorid/dredge decks but what do you think is the best one right now. Especially with the new core set coming out. Plus with all the new rules going to be implemented. Will the ichorid/dredge decks get affected?

So far none of the new rules changes have affected dredge at all. The new combat rules might actually help dredge more than hurt is as it uses its attack phase in a rather straight forward manner.
As far as which is best right now, my testing has shown that either fatestitcher dredge or wasteland dredge are the best ones right now. I don't know what cards are in the new set yet so I can't make predictions for that.
