Yep, but it wasn't when the list was posted. Filling three slots is pretty big, though.
What do yall think should replace it?
ss, dammit
Come play Magic the way it was meant to be played: http://community.wizards.com/go/forum/view/75842/134942/Vintage

Once the list already runs FoF and Gifts...
I'd run 3x Thoughtcast... it is really good when you have a bunch of artifacts like this deck.

i know that it's expensive and probably not the best way to take care of gaia's blessings and darksteel collosus (which ruins a painter/stone combo the worst forcing the game into a draw) but people tend not to put 4 darksteels or 4 gaia's blessings in a deck. In my painter/stone casual deck I have jester's cap. maybe sideboard one or something that does similar if you know they have anti-mill cards in the deck.

No one is really worried about being decked. Very few decks run Gaea's Blessing in the Sideboard, and only oath runs it in the MB. DSC is seen fewer and fewer times, but not to combat this deck. Extirpate works.. Tormods Crypt... J Cap... etc.

Also remeber that if they have less than three cards in the deck ancestral becomes a kill spell. When I played painter it was not uncommon to see dsc, so mill them->will->ancestral targeting the opponent was a fairly common play for me.

The problem I have with Servant is it's largely outclassed by Time Vault. The big upside is that it's more redundant and you play with MD red blasts.

Well besides the ancestral maybe the deck could run Jace as another card to force them to draw out. You dont need to always have him reach 10...you could just let them draw there dsc on ur turn then say go. Just a thought.

You're already running trinket Mages. If you could find room for Tinker and Time Vault I would say 1 key would be worth it.
