The converted mana cost of Chalice of the Void is always zero. We can play it in turn, paying X=0 and X=0.
Thanks for the reply!!! The cmc of a Chalice at 1 on the stack is 2. Chalice at 2 is 4. Chalice at 3 is 6.

Oh... =( Would have worked well otherwise =P
I'm going to play the national open Legacy tournament, to be held on September the 6th here in Chile. I'll take this deck -unfortunately I only have 3 berserks... oh well.
Cheers, F_
BIG P.S: did you guys check César Fernández SB for Berserk Stompy? 4 Naturalize 4 Seeds of Innocence 4 Tormod's Crypt 2 Vexing Shusher 1 Gaea's Blessing what do you think?

I like it otherwise, but decided to add four needles in there. I took out one of all but Gaea's Blessing. It's not probably the optimal sideboard now, but I'm not sure what to change yet.

I finally got all the cards an hour ago. This is the sideboard I have now: sb4 x *Tormod's Crypt 3 x *Naturalize 3 x *Seeds of Innocence 3 x *Pithing Needle 1 x *Vexing Shusher 1 x *Gaea's Blessing Threshold doesn't seem to be played much here so I'm not all that concerned about it. Gaea's Blessing is there because of Painter decks, and apparently there are some Solidarity and Spring Tide players here too. Now I'm itching to get to play the deck.

What about Krosan Grip instead of Naturalize. I found Krosan Grip 's split second to be very handy in some situations. I've been thinking about it and will probably test it. That three mana just to kill one card is quite a lot. Then again, it will evade Counterbalance. Gotta try it.

Remember! Krosan Grip gets you out of really hairy situations like Chalice at one and two, an EE already on the board, and Countertop lock. I totally think its worth the extra mana.

I like seeds of innocence too, but aren't 3CC spells hard(er) to play?
