Oops, didn't see that we already had a Faeries thread from a while back. Well, if that one doesn't get updated, we've got a new one anyway

Yours is better and more up to date. He had a chance to update and improve the thread, but didn't. I'm glad that you made a new one.

I just finished the Affinity thread. It is a little rough for my tastes but is comparable to the original from the DTB section.

What does everyone think about Doran going into the Decks to Beat? It is still a good deck and will most likely see play, but it didn't do particularly well at Berlin.

We still don't have threads for NLU or All-in Red. All-in Red wouldn't be a Deck to Beat, but it should at least have a thread.

Dredge had 2 decks in top 16 in Berlin and 4 on day two, meaning that 50% of the decks that made it to day two had the potential to make it to top 16. With everybody focusing on Elves!, and having Chalice of the Void as such a strong option against Tormod's Crypt, I definitely think that this will be a deck to beat in coming tournaments, but I think it's already proven itself as a DtB at Berlin. I already have a primer written up if you want to move it in here.

Personally, I think that Dredge deserves to be in here, but I'd like to hear other people's opinions on it as well. The evidence that RathiAssassin provides is hard to ignore, though the fact that only eight people played the deck could work against it.

Although I love Dredge and believe it's already a contender, maybe it would be best to see how many people play it in the Grand Prix qualifier at Worlds this year (hopefully I'll be one of them).

Storm and NLU each were only played by one player at Worlds. We could take their DtB status now or wait for the PTQ season and give them a chance to redeem themselves. Affinity also did pretty poorly, but it allegedly won the PTQ that was held at Worlds so it is probably worth keeping in.

Possible inclusions based on Worlds results, in order of popularity and success:
Burn
UB Tron
Swans
Dredge
Goblins
All-in Red
Gifts Rock

Personally, I think that, at the very least, Burn and UB Tron should go in.

I think burn definately deserves it just because of the insanely large amount of budget players that will play it. Not convinced by UB tron yet. Seems like it was just a one time deal. I'm making a new swans thread soon, btw. I don't think it needs DtB, so we'll just put it in TC to start and see how it does in the upcoming season.

NO ONE EXPECTS THE QUAGSIRE INSURRECTION!

I think that the "Decks to Beat" should be stickied.
