How do you know this?.. It's simply a rumor. I never stated as fact, as evidenced by "it seems". No need to blow a fuse.

1st place 3-0 at FNM last night. R1: 2-0 vs. Monoblack something ( Sign in Blood , Corrupt , Tendrils , Sanguine Bond ) R2: 2-1 vs. WW/u ( Cryptic Command , Cancel , Martial Coup ) R3: 2-1 vs. Traditional WW ( Elite Vanguard , Harm's Way ) List
Show
I only ran the Mirrorweave because I didn't have a fourh Honor (I do now, and it's in the deck). As expected, star players were the tokens and pump: Spectral, Cloudgoat, Honor, Ajani. Sided in Stillmoon Cavalier all 3 matches, Moonglove Extract vs. the two WW decks. Only saw one opposing Stillmoon but I did kill it before it could swing

i took a similar ww deck to an event and went 3-0.
my list:
plains x21 windbrisk x4 figure x4 goldmeadow stalwart x4 cenn x4 knight of meadowgrain x4 cloudgoat x4 spectral x4 honor x4 path to exile x4 ajani x2 surge of thoughtweft
my sb was kind of a pile: forge tender x4 ranger of eos x2 stillmoon x2 safe passage x3 harms way x2 goldmeadow harrier baneslayer angel
the board didnt have canonists cause i didnt own them, i will add them. also would use more stillmoon if i owned them
anyway..
g1 2-1 vs elf aggro (not combo) game 1 he got out too many guys and i couldn't draw fliers. game 2 i board in the safe passages and stillmoons and harms ways, but actually pumped spectral tokens give me the win after i path his elf that kills fliers. game 3 he has a nuts draw (played whole hand turn 2). but somehow i managed to play thru and drop some guys... i think it was 2x meadowgrain, cenn and honor which made some of his attacks essentially null. got out a cloudgoat, swing with him for 6 in the air next turn, and dropped a stillmoon. following turn i need to topdeck a land to pump stillmoon enough, and i do. goat for 6, stillmoon is a 3 and i pay to make him big enough for lethal that turn.
thoughts: i finally saw the ridiculous power of stillmoon. now i'm torn if i wanna buy two more for the sb since i'm only playing in locals till zanzabar
g2 monored burn 2-0 game 1 he got land flood after mull twice, i run over him, don't see any creatures so i sb out paths for game 2. game 2 it's back and forth, he had tattermunge maniancs and some stuff like ball lightning. anyway i'm at 9 and he's real low, he drops ball lightning. he swings, and i debate taking it (he was tapped out). but i block with cenn to take only 4 and go to 5 life. he then plays land for turn and bolt, so good block by me. his next turn he doesnt draw anything to get in the final 2 points so i win.
thoughts: he didnt draw any fallouts in either game, lucky for me. sb in 4 forge tender, 2 ranger of eos and 2 harms way vs red burn seems crazy good.
g3 jund aggro 2-0 game 1 i get out to a fast start and do some good damage. cenn and an honor mean my guys are 4/4 and such which beats ram gangs and bloodbraid elfs. lightning bolts made things interesting, but opponent didnt have fallout so i pulled it off. game 2 more of the same really. spectral into a windbrisk for a second spectral since i saw no pulse's game 1. hells thunder does some damage to me, but the opponent never drew a 5th land to unearth him. honor means i can swing with 12 worth of flier tokens, so 2 turns later i win it.
not bad. i will miss the deck once its gone

not bad. i will miss the deck once its gone Almost the entire deck is of Lor/Sha Block. I'm going to miss mine too when Zendikar comes in.
Are you going to make some replacements to keep the spirit alive, or are you going to retire it completely?

Are you going to make some replacements to keep the spirit alive, or are you going to retire it completely? I'm going with Soldiers. Let's just hope Zendikar releases some good ones. Replacement for Akrasan Squire would be nice. That card is jank compared to FoD.

Alaran one-drop soldiers are a miss. Why not try to go with Goldmeadow Harrier in the meantime?

Alaran one-drop soldiers are a miss. Why not try to go with Goldmeadow Harrier in the meantime? I'm playing Soldiers post rotation - not now. They're much slower and less efficient then Kithkin atm. Kithkin's just a better deck.

i am not sure what i will do after zendikar. last year (pre-shadowmoor days) i played kithkin pretty casually, and it did ok but lacked flying and long game reach to win attrition wars. this year, figure and spectral have given the deck both evasion AND some extra reach in terms of figure becoming an 8/8 if need be late game.
initially i want to say that elspeth to make guys fly might be strong- i recall griffin guide actually being a decent card back last year some, so maybe elspeth does something in that vein.
ie, turn 1 play squire, t2 honor swing for 3, t3 some power 2 or 3 guy swing for 3, t4 elspeth+pump the turn 2 play plus squire exalted and fly?
i'm not sure honestly. evasion is needed i think though. it, in my very limited experience, is what makes the current build more well rounded. like, look at my report, fliers were basically my win con against some of those decks
