If you are going monk MC get the Soaring Blade PP and be super mega imba at lvl 16! You need to be proficient with your pact weapon as an implement for it to work. If your DM is really being a stickler then it'd take a minor action to manifest the pact weapon, and another minor action to Shrink it. I've never had a DM be that much of a jerk, though.
