We're in the process of consolidating all the feedback from the D&D Next surveys at D&D Experience, and we're looking ahead to upcoming conventions and deciding what kind of playtesting support we want to have.

What’s in a (Spell) Name? by Bruce Cordell
If you’ve played D&D, you have probably heard the names Evard, Bigby, Melf, and Drawmij. Come read what Bruce has...

Took me about 10 mins to learn how to use a wiki.
If anyone's interested, this is a good place to flesh out the world. I think we should use it for mostly world info. There's alot of info out there on the Points of Light campaign setting, but I consider this wiki more like a fog of war for the players. I'll be remixing a lot of the elements, so there is technically no 'canon'.
As we explore, we'll add to what we know about the world and it's history.
Have a look here.

Last week, I joined members of the D&D Next team, including Mike Mearls, Monte Cook, Jeremy Crawford, Robert Schwalb, and Bruce Cordell, in Fort Wayne Indiana for D&D Experience. There, fans of D&D joined us in the first public playtest of the next iteration of Dungeons & Dragons. Over the course of the weekend, we received feedback from 363 people, which the team has already finished reading through. We also hosted four seminars, three of which focused on the next iteration of the game.

After last week’s big announcement, we’ve seen an explosion of discussion and speculation on what the next iteration of D&D will include. Were this any other game, I’d make a joke about the new version of the game having dinosaurs, but since D&D has dinosaurs (or behemoths), I’m at a bit of a loss. At the risk of contributing to the wild conjecture, I can in fact confirm here and now that elves will be in the game. Oh, I suppose you knew that. I guess you’ll have to wait until D&D Experience.
I do have some legitimate news: This week, we have a line-up of blogs from designers Bruce Cordell, Robert Schwalb, and Monte Cook. Watch for more in the future. Here’s what’s in store:

Clan Yawgmoth is Infecting the Plane!
Check out KillerOwen's Legacy article series at MTGOAcademy.com >Legacy, where covers the metagame and breaks down a popular deck. I've really enjoyed them so far.
Congratulations to BlippyTheSlug on his 3-1 Modern Daily Event win with splinter twin!

So here it is! The NEW installment of Roguehorse Gamer News. For those of you who followed through (or ever noticed) the old WordPress RGN, after a few months of working with and talking with my gaming buddies it just seemed "normal" to just go ahead and ditch the old WP blog and migrate everything over here to the Wizards community pages.
Seems to make more sense than to try and moderate both blogs in the same place when the RGN is primarily focused on our weekly game, which recently has been more like a "weakly" game. That's kind of what happens though with a group of 5-6 people all trying to juggle schedules around to make time to role play. :panic:
As for myself personally, I'm thinking of adding more interest into the "gaming" part of my life. Not so much because I have nothing...
