One of the final Coalition bases to fall in the last war, Sheila and her brood had been compleated by Phyrexia.  Yet, this land had changed hands once more.  Under the guiding hand of Myril, the forests were retaken for the Coalition, and signs of its past holders destroyed.

(Tale by Myril)

--------------------------------

Damia growled slightly, peering up at the massive, rotting husk of Sheila's lair... conflicted.  As a being of both death and rebirth, a part of her rejoiced at the conversion between her two identities, as the once-verdulant tree sat converged into a epitaph of finality, a massive structure celibrating the finality of death.

Still, the sight of so much life corrupted made her stomach turn... the metal plates upon Sheila's husk and the tainted scent of iron

At this point..I am like ADD with building decks or something rofl....I got back into MTG after years of not playing and not having any of my old cards so I really had to start back up from scratch and find my niche again. After some frustration I am getting some clarity.

I have a mono green deck that is relatively fast, easy mana gain in that.  That is the secondary deck though and not my main focus. I am not excited about it, at least not right now.

My "main" has become my white/red deck. I dismantled the mono-white and the red/green, combined some of those cards. The red/white is working pretty well for me. It looks lack luster at first because I got weenies coming out, but those weenies go to the gym lol. Lots of counters getting put on them, gaining trample, lifelink (never...

The last uprising upon Dominaria under Capashen Dawn has proven to be one of the most deadly to Phyrexia thus far.  Already, the new Coalition forces have advanced across their home plane, destroying the main Phyrexian holding of Shiela's Lair.  While it is not certain what happened to the giant spider that made the land her home.  The forests are still filled with her brood.  Despite the destruction of the stronghold, the scars upon the creatures and land will not heal nearly so easily.

Even on the plane of Mirrodin, Phyrexian presence has been wanning.  Their stronghold Gehenna in the Oxidda Chain was destroyed by Grand Admiral Kelket.  Rubble and ruins are all that remain of the once proud fortress city.  Meanwhile all attacks to secure Mirrodin's Core...

I stopped playing MTG many years ago. When I went into the Army I left behind my group of friends that played MTG and I never seen my folder of cards that were put away back at my fathers house at the time. So I just never played again. I got back into it recently, somehow I got sucked back in haha. I picked up one premade deck, a handful of expansion packs and that night I ended up playing my sweetheart for hours on end until it was past midnight and we needed to get some sleep.

I used to always play red burn decks back in the day and I had a goblin weenie deck that I frequented. Majority of what I did was red...I was VERY partial to burn decks. That was like my niche, burn baby burn!

So I decided to go a different route and the premade I picked up was an angel deck. Totally different style...

I'm looking to make a RPG based system of gameplay, for Magic the Gathering.
Unfortunately, I have no idea how to go about it. So far all I have in mind is some sort of leveling system, and rewards for completeing task's. (or as I would like to reffer to them "gambles".) Before each round every player must make at least one "gamble", but cannot excede three gambles per round. For example, I might pick something along the lines of "I must destroy 6 creatures using instants or sorcery's in the round." And if I completed the task then I would recieve a bonus. Which would result in a much higher (or slightly higher) reward of "cp" which are points that I could spend on Perks or extra points for my deck (I will explain the points in a bit) or a higher starting life total. Each LVL 1 player would...

After rather a long time of dozing, the not very good chronicler at last awakens with a snort.  Destruction walks the planes, and the first ruin lies in the wake of the everlasting planar war.  With quill in hand, the day of end is noted in the tale of the 6th war.

----------------------------------------

Kelket stood atop a ruined wall of the Grand Fortress of Gehenna, staring down at the battered mountainside. His forces had finished salvaging whatever supplies they could from the Phyrexian stores, and had already rendezvoused at a camp set up among the steppes well away from the three mountains that made up the stronghold of Gehenna. The Dice Gods only knew, this war was far from over and the Coalition would need everything they could get. While the armies surrounding ...
