I've been neglecting posting on here for a long time due to real life getting in the way, so I want to power through the entire M13 set ratings since i'm so far behind. I apologize in advance for the long post, but it will still be sorted by color, so worst case, you can just scroll down until you see the color that you are looking for in bold. Lets begin with the ratings for those of you not familiar with them yet:

1 - This card shouldn't see much, if any play in EDH. Either very limited uses to one or two specific generals, or just bad.
1.5
2 - This card might see a little play, and it's not totally unplayable, but by no means should it see tons of play.
2.5
3 - This card is solid. Will see a respectable amount of play from decks in it's colors, and isn't too limited in it's strategy. ...

The story is simple ... Luca player Magic enthusiast aggro decks opens its happy happy new event deck "In Passage" conscious of having in his hand a small automatic machine gun. Sandro player Magic 30'' neo receives a gift from his friends another event deck "Spiraling Doom" who immediately decided to turn in one of the decks that has more than whetted his style of play, the deck in question is the famous Melira Pod Modern format. Of course they can not afford for budgetary fetchland ShockLands and opt for low-cost solutions but definitely less efficient giving birth to the deck list MyLittlePod. As will be gone the challenge? Let's find out!

I've been busy with life, and Football season, and other games as of late, so I haven't been around Magic much the past couple months, which is also why this post is a couple of weeks behind the announcement. I'll also catch up on the set reviews (and they'll probably be better, since the two sets i'm missing have been out for long enough to do some testing) in the near future.

Hello Fellow magic nerds.  Today we have some great architypes for standard, JUND,Naya,Bant and more!!!!  I am very exited about Return to Ravnica, as this opens up many broad horizons For deck building and a new tier one format. Let us look back on the past years of competitive magic and see how jund faired last time in standard. as we all know back in shards of alara the cascade mechanic turned into a nightmare for a lot of players playing against jund. Let you cast free spellls that were normally devestating became more deadly when those spells were removal or other creatures to swarm the board. Naya lightsaber eventuallly put an end to jund but the deck is still amazing then and now.  Bant aslo was very hard to take down, the strength of Knight of the reliquary, ranger...

• We’ve seen the promo art for Gatecrash (the second R2R set), and it shows Gideon fighting alongside Razia. Gideon’s got a Boros Signet on his sash: going to assume we’re getting a guild-mana Gideon.
• Also going to assume this is Zendikar Part 2. The plot in RoE left off with Gideon planeswalking away from Zendikar to gather reinforcements to fight the Eldrazi. Iirc, he planeswalked to Ravnica. (Haven’t read the books, so I’m going on what I’ve read online.)
• Going out on a limb here, but I think Gatecrash is probably time-wise when Gideon arrives in Ravnica. The set name could be referring to shutting off the dimensional rift through which he planeswalked, as quickly as possible. (Not sure on this one, but I distinctly recall Wizards describing the
